Honda should slap those dealers for price gouging the customers. Sure, you'll always find people willing to pay more, it's a sad fact. But Honda is losing potential customers like that. When I bought my FK8 in Switzerland I didn't have to pay any markup, got mine for a great price. Also, they sell the GT variant here in Europe and it has even more digital features (which I don't use) but they are there. I *love* my FK8 Civic.

The dealerships are ridiculous with the mark up but I wanted one so bad I put out the money for it, I am extremely happy for my purchase just not happy about the cost. $42k even with a trade in that was in great condition.
It would be a dream to have one one day. The dedication that Honda has with each of the models is admirable. I have a long way to go to reach the DREAM of getting one

You guys should do another video in the type r factory on how they select the numbering system for the type r. And what the vin number means in relation to the plaque number. It would be really cool.
I read that the badge numbers have nothing to do with the vin, they specifically put the badge numbers in a random order on the R's so that people don't obsess over who has the lowest badge number

If they don’t regulate how dealerships represent their brand and continue to do poor deceptive business practices, all their efforts in engineering and design and marketing goes down the toilet when dealerships run shady businesses. This is especially true in Hawaii. The reason why Toyota has been #1 for years.
