The entire play was gorgeous from Alba to the tap in but that pass is outrageous. Not only to have the vision to see the pass but the genius to execute it to perfection is mind blowing

@@dirtysouth693
Yeah, that could use some work.
@@dirtysouth693 in general you’re right but in this sequence I’m not sure any defence can defend Messi here
Yes. Need more than 1 element to create that master piece. The skill, vision, understanding, trust. I couldnt see it in PSG. Inter Miami players have done a much better team work.
@@emu8435 bro he had 10 minutes to think about it in the penalty area surrounded by 3 players.
Idk but the whole Messi story from being not happy at PSG, leaving European football, going to Inter Miami and lifting this club to another level while playing with a free mind and practically without pressure, celebrating his goals with superhero gestures for his kids, etc. is probably THE BEST and most beautiful football story I've ever witnessed. 💗
Inter Miami was not a strong team but after Leo came, he boosts their spirit and confidence. The coordination is good, the young players understand Leo's passes, and gives him when he needs. Couldn't find it in PSG.
Y'all keep saying there is pressure but this is literally one of the greatest players ever. I don't think he feels pressure like your average player does. We're talking Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Joe Montana type great.
Or was pressure.
I used to dislike him because I’m an Italian soccer fan. But I have to admit that he is the best I’ve seen maybe after Ronaldinho.
Messi's goal was a tap-in, but the set up for it was just magnificent. From the cross of Busquets, the amazing one-touch volley of Alba to Messi's outside-of-the-foot pass. Inter Miami went from being the worst team in MLS to one of the candidates for the trophy, thanks to this Barça trio 🔵🔴.
Insane setup

That volley-pass is genuinely the best thing I've ever seen Alba do, and Messi's pass right after it was insane as well... what a goal!
That was really insane to keep the control of that pass.
Insane and strange
@@kamenpetrov6787 Yes, I don't think I've ever seen that kind of pass before.
They are having fun. The context is so different from the pressure they were used to in Europe.
it's not the pass for me, it's his vision. Who would've thought that he'd pass the ball to the empty space where literally nobody was there. And great understanding from Cremaschi as well.
Nobody in the stadium or watching on TV expected that pass, not even Cremaschi. The defenders were petrified as if they had seen a ghost or an alternative reality happening in front of their eyes and they simply couldn't compute. They were short-circuited. Luckily, Cremaschi recognized it and reacted in time and faster than his defender and contributed to the masterpiece of a goal that was. Absolutely amazing. The fact that at his age and after getting us used to seeing the impossible turned into reality time after time that he is still able to surprise and bless us with such magic is hard to wrap our heads around. There are humans and footballers, and then there is D10S.
I've heard other people say what you said about nobody foreseeing that pass. I think Cremaschi did. He gave Messi a hand signal a second before the pass that he was ready to make a run. Agreed that the pass was amazing, perfectly placed and weighted, and Messi broke towards the goal immediately after releasing the pass. Kudos to Cremaschi for the return pass.
@@macgp44 I wondered about what you wrote as I watched it happen and it's a good point. I saw Cremaschi raising his arm and I thought it was because he knew Messi wasn't in a position to shoot. Messi could have played it to Robinson for a goal attempt but it got crowded quickly and also had Yedlin at the top of the box to either play him (Cremaschi) or try shooting on goal as well. But he doesn't. I think Cremaschi at that moment recognized that Messi is trying to play with him so he is definitely paying attention. However, if you notice Cremaschi's reaction and how he corrects his direction (6:03) you can tell he wasn't expecting Messi was going to infiltrate the pass deep and through the three defenders towards the goal line. That's the body movement that tells me that even Cremaschi wasn't expecting that masterful play. I think that at some point Cremaschi thinks Messi had lost the space and chance to play him the ball. But I'll give him props because he was able to react quicker than his defender and make a play on the ball. He was definitely locked in. And yes, his cross to Messi was impeccable. He didn't hesitate and understood the play once he was able to react to it. I really like Cremaschi and I think that playing alongside Messi can do wonders for his development.
The vision to make the pass isn't really the genius, a lot of world class could've seen the pass, but very few players can actually execute the perfect pass in that scenario. The timing of the run by the overlapping player was excellent as well, make the run too early, then he could've been offside, make the run too late and he wouldn't have made it to the ball or the defender gets there first
Hello, say: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. These words make you a servant of Allah ........ ..........

As an Inter Miami fan, I absolutely agree! While racking up the most consecutive losses in a row in the club's short history, this team had the passing and the possession, it lacked the confidence and the finishing touch Messi provided to make this team great again!

That ball to messi and the ball by messi to the rwf was just insane😮💨
Its a Beautiful thing to see how Messi is just elevating Not only Miami but the Entire MLS!!
Insane goal from Messi and Miami. Seriously it felt like watching a chess game, one move here, one pass there, then checkmate.
Good comparison...right on!
