Such a great quality review +tabletennisdaily. Keep this kind of reviews where you compare other rubbers to it. It was a great review and much better than your previous one . Keep up the good work👏
hey fellas... again a great review. I tried it out and it is very spinny. I used it on my backhand for a while. The medium version was great for me but I didn't stick with it too long. A little too much weight for me. The rubber isn't heavy at all, but for my setup it adds a little to much weight on my 92 gram blade. So I'm stuck with Bryce Highspeed 1.9 on the backhand. very light Grade: Control (10) superior control, no doubt it's going to do well for the club level Spin (10) Excellent spin, probably its best quality Blocking (9) great for handling incoming spin Loop (10) Can get great arch and spin Loop drive (7) Lacks the necessary speed in the modern game Speed (8) Very disappointed with the speed. But the control and spin are a good trade off for the speed. Flick BH (10) One of the best for the backhand flick Lifting Underspin (9) great for slow loop, not that good for driving through underspin (maybe it's just me)
I have the Medium version on one of my paddles, I use it for my backhand as I generally get more lower balls to my backhand side. I find it is better than airoc astro which I previous used and this rubber does remind me of hurricane but I like it better. I love it's control, it's power, and I have some awesome blocks along with counterhits and I tend to serve better with it.
TableTennisDaily I have one very important question : I saw a “ Bounce-Test “ of this rubber (m version ) and now i am scared...After one bounce the ball nearly stood still. Is there no catapult-effect at all ? :o I was about to buy the rubber but now i am scared...
bought a medium ones when upgrading my blade. Now the setup has Stiga Genesis M for FH and an used Xiom Vega Pro for BH on Xiom Hayabusa Z. For the visual department, it looks tacky (i bought a red one).......somewhat similar to DHS Hurricane 2 i used long before where it seem has a semi transparent sheet ( i can see the pimples). When compared to my previous setup (now my backup blade), a DHS PG13 with Xiom Omega V Pro (FH) and Yasaka Rakza X(BH), the current setup was faster which i realise it immediately. I could control much better with the Genesis and lifting underspin is interesting. Since its new, the spin is wicked compared to the Omega even when its new. I consider it as an upgrade from my Omega V Pro. Really love it.
Easily one of the best rubbers I have used since the glue ban. I have a spinny forehand and a punch backhand, I can control everything on both sides very well, pick up chops with ease. I use S both sides
Good job man,i have seen all your videos, you do a really good review on the blades or rubbers you show on this channel, and you play really good table tennnis, keep up the good work! :D
I'm thinking genesis medium for backhand punch! What do you think? I love to attack with my backhand and get the opponent out of control and then finish it with my forehand, will it be good for close table fast backhand play?
Hey guys, is there maybe a chance you'd get Genesis II to do a new review and maybe a comparison between the first and second generations? That's quite difficult to find this anywhere and you're always great at reviewing TT rubbers and blades! Hope you'll like the idea ;)
Love your reviews! How would you compare the Stiga Genesis M to DHS Hurricane 8? Which to do you prefer? I use Hurricane 8 on both backhand and forehand. I love standing close to the table and the Hurricane 8 has a really low trajectory but then it jumps off the opponents side of the table. It is unforgiving and requires a lot of effort if I step back from the table. I'm considering trying Stiga Genesis.
You guys have gotten a lot better. I love the rallies and especially the transitions from blocks to loop drives. I saw that you compared the Stiga rubber to t05. While it seemed you had great control with the Stiga rubber. The blocker seemed to have more trouble returning t05. What are your thoughts on that?
Thanks Overseer, good point yes. I think Tom was so use to playing against Genesis throughout the review when we used Tenergy the ball flight was different. I would say comparing the two, Tenergy travels quicker to you than the Genesis. Both similar spin
Btw, could you do a review of donic acuda blue ps 1,2 and 3 rubbers. And you should also have done a comparison between the blades you use. Like, Tom could have tried Carbonado and Infinity and you the Hybrid Wood. Please switch blades in the next review.
Question for anyone with knowledge: I have a generic Stiga blade with generic rubbers. I feel I've outgrown at least the rubbers. The rubbers are too "springy" in my opinion. They severely limit the power in my swing. What are the best rubbers that are going to allow me to swing harder while providing an accurate and fast spin? Any help would be appreciated
Hey guys ;) I dont see any review of Yasaka products. Can you make a review of Yasaka Rakza 9 or X ? I just play with the Yasaka brand, that´s why i asked you to make the review ! Thanks in advance !
Good question Kino. I actually said to Tom initially I found similarities to the two. I'd say quite similar in speed and spin. Maybe H8 a touch faster. Both similar. .
STIGA has never really known what to do with their rubbers. STIGA is trying to hop on the Japanese-made porous sponge bandwagon, but even these rubbers are far surpassed by the high-performance TENSOR rubbers of yesteryear such as the Omega V series, Bluefire, and Evolution.
I was actually being serious. You play at a very decent level, and tested a lot of equipment, so your perspective - after having tried the rubber - would be interesting.

Hi Imran, thanks for your kind words and following TTD :) We will do our best. Thanks :)

Glad your enjoying it Mike. Agreed that its excellent for blocks and control. Have a good weekend!

Stephen Phoenix-Roberts 👍
Your reviews are better and better... keep it this way ...
Thanks Robert!
Genesis II S and Genesis II M please :)
What do you guys think of the rubbers lifetime. Do they lose their speed and grip after a short amount of time or?
Best review so far. Will try one of the rubbers out with the Hybrid Wood or Emerald blade
Thanks Christian! Let us know how you get on with the rubber :)

dude r u crazy...no comparison of ma longs rubber with ttds review rubber...😂😂
Donnie Lawson it's not s good idea to have two tack rubbers. They're great in forehand but very bad in backhand. Use some sort of tensor rubber
Ma long not use H8
Great Review, i like that you compare with an other similar rubber. Wish there could be some facts also included in Reviews, speed, spin, a.s.o.
HI Jan, good idea will try and include facts in our upcoming reviews. Good suggestion thanks.
Im gonna be having airoc m on forehand, but I dont know if I should buy genesis m or s to backhand coming from a stiga calibra lt spin! Help!
Dear Dan, what is the difference between Genesis Soft , Stiga Airoc Astro S & Stiga Airoc S
Tom swapped hands in that last point? Good work!
Haha he sure did! :) thanks!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a similar insight to the NEW Genesis II rubbers :)
Is the speed difference between 'Genesis' and 'Cj8000 Biotech' too big for someone coming from the latter?
Keep Up Good Work TableTennisDaily Good Video And I Like These Reviews! 👍🏻
Thanks Harri :)

Wish they would review the Nittaku Acoustic blade.

Still need an answer?
Which one is better for chopper genesis m or genesis s
Il there huge difference between s and m version in term of speed ? (Compare to thibar 5q VIP) Thanks :)
did you guys stiga eternity better or stiga carbonado 90 with this rubber?
I am a modern chopper with forehand attack style; should I use M or S?
I say soft for more back spin.
Kindly do a review of DHS Long 5 blade?
Also,do a review of Joola Rhyzer 48 and Pro 50.
Thanks in advance :)
Dan , is the throw angle of the genesis m as high as a tenergy 05 ?
What's faster hurricane 8 or stiga Genesis ?
Would you say these rubbers are spinnier than tenergy for serves?
Hi Acbbb I would say similar. The ball will soak into the sponge of Tenergy for longer. Genesis is a bit harder.
Awsome! Just 1 question: when did the gewo hype el rewind comes?
Hi Netto, next month we will release this review :)
Great video. Have you reviewed any Rasant rubbers yet?
Awesome! Glad you liked the review Jack!
Hey guys ;) I dont see any review of Yasaka products. Can you make a review of Yasaka Rakza 9 or X ? I just play with the Yasaka brand, that´s why i asked you to make the review ! Thanks in advance !

Could really anyone cut the rubber worse than this?
First!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
your spins are very weak you need to improve it but you have very good footwork-proffessional table tennis player#don't judge by profile pic
Yet another shit rubber by Stiga...
That EJ raaaah
You should do a review of your own :-)
It's really not. Genuinely much much better than previous Airoc and Calibra
+Vadym Krevs haha I was just joking Vadym, just assuming from Stiga's track record with rubbers :p
I was actually being serious. You play at a very decent level, and tested a lot of equipment, so your perspective - after having tried the rubber - would be interesting.
