Pitching additions weren't good enough given that their pitching depth has been a problem the majority of the season. Ross doesn't always make the best decisions, but that is the case for most managers. We can only hope that they finish this season strong and are willing to spend in the offseason.

That may have forced the tiebreaker with the Giants for that wild card. Hopefully, this doesn't keep us out of the playoffs. Hopefully, they'll bounce back and retain the No. 3 spot at least.
