Exactly. That chance to make sure you cap your big shield that’s bigger than your health is where it’s at. Those last few waves you can barely recover fast enough
ugh. seeing atk and DR on same tier hurts. The atk card helps my DW to kill longer, so more kills with extra coin bonus. And DR kills things outside of coin bonus. So in my opinion DR should be lower. Although DR becomes good on waves 6.5k+ where you can just kill as much as possible because enemies spawn at cap rate. Atk should move to A. def% is kindof my most important card. I have 97,1% def with perks. If i didnt have the card equiped i would take 14% dmg instead of 3%. Which is 5 times as much. S tier for me. plasma cannon i agree with your reasoning, but would put it in A. I use it in most of my runs. only time i dont use it is when tourney condition makes it useless. End game with wall. Health regen is super important. regen is what carries my runs, i have 11T regen. i would put this at A tier intro sprint is used for the WAWSIS strategy. Where you start tourney near end of time and you hope you are the first one in the bracket. WA (wave acceleration), WS (Wave skip) and IS (introsprint) can give you a boost with rng to keep you ahead. Package chance is really good if you use the module galaxy compressor. Where your UW cooldowns will become lower if you get a package. further then that i dont think its very usefull. I agree with your rating. Land mines should be higher. It stuns enemies, so they dont do dmg. At the end of your run it becomes very powerfull for almost every build. Wave accelerator should be S tier. the whole point of the game is farm a lot of waves. you can farm like 15k waves per day. 15k times 3 seconds is like 12,5 hour with 6x game speed that means 2h more farming per day. Same reasoning as the wave skip. I think nuke has same use as demon mode. Its used to cheese the waves to get to higher tiers. should be C as well.
I can agree with this guy, really cards have 3+ tier lists. Early/Mid game which prioritizes dmg. Then late game list where you optimize for different farming builds Moves many "F" tier cards up to A tier Then tourney which is basically moving all econ cards into F tier and all cheese cards to push for more waves into A/S tier
Enjoying these videos. Glad to get some insight. My account is kinda weird since most cards weren't here when I started. So I have some cards that are 4* and yet have like 8 more slots of cards that aren't even unlocked... I just got super tower and death Ray and was kinda wondering what people thought about it. Idk about these builds, but I do know thorns and health seem to be the best stats.
15:08 for Ultimate Crit you can't get it for the turtle build, it won't unlock until Tier 14 wave 50. I seriously doubt anyone will be trying to turtle if they got to that point.
Hah, I was surprised why I said turtle build. I meant Blender build that I use, but yeah, you are right, that it would be weird to go turtle when you reached Tier 14.
Here is some advice the list will change because in late game strategies you only rely on damage because the damage if the enemy is in the trillions in the higher tiers. Recovery package is very useful if you have the right module galaxy compressor for farming with synchronized Black Hole and Golden Tower Energy net is also important for damaging the boss with the orbs if you do the lab
I would put death ray down to C (i dont need it and it is lowering my coin/min), and move recovery package to S, land mine stun to A and wave acceletator up to S for farming. Recovery package/Land Mine Stun > Second Wind. Recovery package adds 300-500 more rounds, land mine stun adds for me like 800-1200 ( i have 2 Black holes with radius 48 ) so when BH ends it hits tower hard, with stun it is not a problem so much. Extra Orbs are great when you have center of BH not aligned with orbs. And I would probably argue about health > slow. Bonus TIP: if you have Poison swamp and you are coin farming turn stun off because it will stun enemies outside of black hole and then it will lower C/m.
Personally, I love energy shield, that one hit can save me from something that would normally kill me while still dealing thorns damage. Even if you want to argue that the time is too long to replenish, the time it takes to replenish is (in my opinion) completely worth it. You basically have the power to say Nuh uh to any incoming damage. Here’s the calculations for how much time it takes (in waves without the wave cooldown reduction buff card) for just the first level of Energy Shield Minutes x 60 = Seconds Seconds/35 Seconds Per Wave 20 x 60 = 1200 1200/35 = 34.28571428571429 (35 seconds per wave) That is 34 waves per recharge on the base 20 minutes, that is absolutely busted. Even more funny thing, when you have maxed game speed, you basically reduce this to 4 minutes. (Same amount of waves of course) Here are all the calculations for every upgrade of energy shield LVL 1: 20 x 60 = 1200 1200/35 = 34.28571428571429 LVL 2: 18 x 60 = 1080 1080/35 = 30.85714285714286 LVL 3: 16 x 60 = 960 960/35 = 27.42857142857143 LVL 4: 14 x 60 = 840 840/35 = 24 LVL 5: 12 x 60 = 720 720/35 = 20.57142857142857 LVL 6: 10 x 60 = 600 600/35 = 17.14285714285714 LVL 7: 8 x 60 = 480 480/35 = 13.71428571428571
Good one, nice math here. Energy Shield is great for pushing and surviving unlucky enemy combos, but it requires some investment to be really useful for longer runs.
@@KoshMobile funnily enough, I haven’t even been able to upgrade energy shield at all and it’s still been my best card IMO so far. I just would personally rank it at the lowest at high B, and highest at low A. I do get your point though, it’s definitely better for longer based runs. But it can be nice to just get those 10 extra waves when you’re going for those wave rewards at high tiers But other than that, great videos! Keep it up, your guides are extremely helpful and it has helped me progress way faster!
Intro sprint is extremely important for a specific tournament strat. Will be very high tier if you go for that one. Other than than, yeah, right now not very useful.
I'm going to have to disagree with the critical coin card. It's S tier for as long as you are killing things with damage. Late run, unless your damage is crazy, it does just about nothing
I find it weird that you rank the plasma cannon S-tier for being able to progress your game to the next tier, but rank the demon mode C-tier when it can basically do the exact same thing With demon mode I was able to go from tier 11-12 even though I definitely wasn't "ready" for it, so now I have a permanent way better daily and weekly mission rewards x) Same thing with second win, it does literally basically the same thing as demon mode, yet you ranked it 2 tiers higher xD I would actually argue that demon mode is better, since it might be able to last for 2 bosses and not just 1 like second wind

Later on I would swap out the Def Abs for plain Def %, Health and Thorns. the percentage gives you more bang for your buck than the Absolute. Then work on orbs and knockback. @Kosh has a nice video on this build, its called the "Blender Build" I've been able to get quite far using this strategy quite fast after breaking into the proper T2 and T3 points.
@@logancunningham7773If u get Garlic Thorns at max in the lab [unlocked by reaching wave 1000 tier 2] u can kill them with ur thorns or u can alternatively set them last on ur target priority so they get close do ur tower and ur thorns kills them.
Demon mode i would put higher C and Nuke lower C. But coins, man, 90% of time I try to push higher tier or do quests and all these cases I wont use coin bonus at all, even through i have 14 slots, they are all full and no room for coins, I use coins only when everything else is done, which is rare. Also I use coins if i do like 2000 waves, like first 1800 waves i put coins and then last few hundred where it gets difficult, i put health and defence cards on their place to survive longer.
ok, if you have played already one month and got 6 star cards and done pretty much everything, then you can start doing coins more, but without coins 300k minute or 500k minute doesnt make so much difference when you get like billions for completing tier 12 stages or 30 mil every daily quest. i dont even have so much time to do these level 7 3000 wave coin runs.
in these tier 10-tier 12 i also use intro sprint, because if i have death defy or not, that means if i can continue over 30 waves, so i want first 30 waves going fast, because i need perfect luck in tier 12 to reach wave 100.
BTW dont see my comments as a way to demotivate you. I think its great there is more content about the tower. Its an awesome game. I am just a bit further in the game and thats why my opinion might be different. The game has a lot of different stages where your goals are different. You will get past certains points where suddenly you struggle with something else. Like early game you will struggle with getting further in higher tiers because of protectors. Then suddenly you can deal with them and you have a new problem. BTW at 5B ltc i think by far my most coin per hour runs are like tier 1 to wave 5k+. Your def% and def abs will carry the little turtle build a lot. AS for the knockback into the orbs is also great. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask!
yes, a lot depends if you are beginner, middle pack or already end game. In the beginning you dont have room for coin cards if you push 1-100 waves mostly and waiting for your lucky run.
I like the content but I seriously disagree with a lot of these rankings. Fortress over health regen is definitely not right. Recovery package and health regen are both incredibly useful for early midgame players. Cash card is definitely not S tier lol( get your workshop up and you’ll see how useless it actually is outside of the very start of a run. Free ups is far more useful than cash(ELS, wall hp, and rend scale beyond what cash can do). Recovery package chance is an absolute must for any early eHP build or someone running g-comp which is pretty widely considered the best mod in the game right now. I don’t want to completely tear this down and for context my account is 3 months old with 25T ltc.

Of course later on things will change, sine right now, for example both fortress and health regen are totally useless for me. Pre Wall and Modules noob content ^^
I struggle dealing with protector, i can achieve wave 6k in T1 but in T2, I can't go higher than wave 1500. I play hp, def% knockback orb, so I can't destroy them and at some point I'm overflowed. Can someone suggest me a way to deal with it ?
id recommend playing into the higher tiers, u should be able to unlock at least t11 or t12, which will give u access to many more upgrade resources. my t1 highest is only 2500ish, but i got all the way for t11 w41 which gives me access to many lab researches and things of that manner
u need more dmg. t1 all things die to ur thorns/orbs but protector makes it so nothing dies to ur orbs immediately. so invest in attack speed, damage and crit factor will help.
@@MoDlegion regen is absolutely useless - as is +absolute defense you can slot defense, but there are at least 15 other cards which are better... BY that time, you know what I mean
@@MrEXobOB Well, if you have a mythic/anc Wormhole redirector regen definitely also isn't bad. But tbf, since my account is a little over 2 years old my view is biased as I'm a lot closer to being endgame than a new player.

@xFrosten yeah, I agree. Plasma cannon can help to push more boss waves than other survival options, Since it just cuts boss hits in half.

I started playing like a week ago.also f2p,is THORNS + ABSOLUTE DEFENSE GOOD OR NOT??? it made me go to tier 1 wave 750

Yea it’s good but swap to a vampire build. And if you get death ray orbs. Its taken me to wave 1350 just slowly upgrading labs and workshop
This is just lifesteal and kickback with attack speed. Then thorns for the bosses and health to push farther

Regen is S tier once you get wall, before that, not so much I guess.
