Because he's riding in the world championship which has the fastest mx riders, some go to America such as roczen, ferrandis, Lawrence brothers but some prefer to race to be world champion not American mx champion.
Pretty sure it's a contract thing as in if he wanted to race in US he would have to sing a contract to an american team amd not the world championship team

The Guy's a machine so fluid on the bike, got buckets of natural talent, just unlucky with accidents he's had always goes 100 percent.
This track may look easy but it’s pretty technical and the soil feels like concrete. Amazing how jeffrey fly’s by like it’s nothing
