      When the competition has that feature, of course it will be brought up. Ignorance of market niches often leads to really misinformed and fallacious comments. Just don't be that person.
      Oh, and in no way am I a fan of, or am I actively defending, automated parking. I'm merely pointing out that your claim is fatuous and irrelevant.

    The Malibu has a speed limiter of 100, they're doing around 90 or so at the 1/4 so the Malibu probably hit the limiter and the Camry went flying by.

    The Fusion has the best ride and handling balance
    The 2nd best mpg(The Fusion is also the heaviest car with 3986 lb curb weight as opposed to 3555 of Camry and 3700 of Malibu)
    The quietest cabin
    The SYNC 3 is best of the 3
    The SONY audio coming out of the box is best
    The Fusion is the only car in this test with an integral link rear suspension that is seen only in expensive cars like Jaguar XE, BMW 3 series, Audi A4, etc and hence its the only car that will be able to provide even ride quality when car is loaded and when car is having driver alone
    So I think its the best car here,
    So USA still suck when it comes to making choosing good cars out of a group test

    malibu would be my first choice since i could get just about everything the ford has but with better milage. ford is the runner up though. the Accord is the best, but i dont like having what everyone else has and it isnt the best by much. its speed and nice dash are the only pros for me. however its a hybrid, not a hellcat so idc about speed, and im not touching the dash while driving. So Malibu. Mazda 6 is good too but no hybrid.

I test drove the Ford Fusion hybrid and thought it had the personality of a 2 x 4 but to be fair it was probably because it was base as nobody around me had the Titanium trim. • @phych
      @phych 7 років тому +2

      As stated in the beginning of the video, they were looking at "popular" hybrids.
      I agree with you about the Accord (not sure how popular the Malibu is over it). However, the Sonata not on the radar as far as popularity goes, even though, in my opinion, it's a better choice than what was reviewed.

    • @kevinchung1492
      @kevinchung1492 7 років тому +1

      My wife own 16 Sonata hybrid that's why I want to see how it compare in their eyes. It is weird that Hyundai doesn't promote the new gen Sonata hybrid at all. Good for me as I can pick one up with $8500 off msrp and intent to keep it long without worry the resale.
      I think Accord hybrid is way more popular than Malibu hybrid. Back in 2014-15 Accord hybrids production couldn't meet the high demand Honda have to shift the production to Japan. And I think Accord should win here; nice ride and handling as Fusion, as fast as Camry; decent interior plus possibility the best mpg.

    I own a hybrid and you have to get used to the driving Dynamics. What it will do and what it won't and that will increase gas mileage. A 10 mile loop tells you nothing especially when you don't even know how accurate those gauges are. You need to test that first before you just look at a gauge and assume that's the mileage it's getting. Also who drag races hybrids LOL as long as it's sufficient we look for the gas mileage not drag racing.

    The Accord hybrid got revised and makes an interesting comparison. The Optima/Sonata twins as well, though I'm not sure about the smoothness of a hybrid with a traditional 6spd autobox.
    However regular hybrids are kind of going out the door; plug in hybrids are the near future as we transition to EV. Therefore Fusion Energi with its 23mile plug-in capability gets my nod.

    • @kevinchung1492
      @kevinchung1492 7 років тому +1

      My wife own 16 Sonata hybrid and the 6sp hybrid combo is super smooth. No CVT drone and a large flat trunk (fold down seats too!) is a win for me. However the trans give up mpg compare to CVT.
      I think Accord could win; nice ride and handling as Fusion, as fast as Camry; decent interior plus possibility the best mpg.
      If you talk about plug in then Fusion and Sonata/Optima would be a close call.

    • @Trades46
      @Trades46 7 років тому

      Indeed. Bonus points that the Sonata/Optima have a PHEV variant as well. Too bad it is a only available as a top-trim level which makes it almost BMW level expensive however.

    • @kevinchung1492
      @kevinchung1492 7 років тому +1

      From msrp stand point they are crazy expensive. But right now in my area you can get a Sonata plug-in with $8500 off plus $4900 tax incentive. That mean a base Sonata plug in ($35500msrp) is only $22k, unless you need trunk space there is no other reason why you buy a gas version over this.

    Great, another Chevy initial quality award lol. At least the Camry and fusion will last longer than 2 months lol. Anyway, it’s nice to see an American manufacturer take the cake.

    I’ll take the 2.7 twin turbo EcoBoost fusion over the Camry trd or Chevy Malibu rs but if I wanted a hybrid that barely gets more mpg then a gas one I’d go with the Malibu it’s the best looking also all 3 of these host know nothing about cars if it wasn’t for the script there reading

    How a 182hp Malibu beat the 188hp fusion is beyond me

    • @OhPhuckYou
      @OhPhuckYou 4 роки тому

      Weight. The Fusion weighs 3,650LBS or more. Also gives it the nicest and most solid road feel. Way I see Hybrids are Slow vs Slow. I'm never going to drag race my Hybrid, but I do enjoy going around corners fast. Ford has that beat even on the oldest chassies of the bunch. Feels more like a German car than an American car, and the most beautiful and premium.

    That's not what I read but whatever .whatever country you live in toyotas work for you but in America we like alot of room and 4x4 and I pull my car to dragstrip so I need a big truck or SUV.i could never have a little shit box like that .I have room for six in my truck .and I use it for me to drive to work.even buy myself I could not handle riding in a car so small and boring.
