It's a bit more complicated for ipads but still doable. There is no way to update the ios to a newer version. However, you can jailbreak the ipad and that would allow you to improve battery life, and allow you to install older versions of apps using Appstore++ that would work on the older OS. Yes, the steps are the same. The only thing different is the custom rom, you need to make sure it's the one for the hv model. Also verify that the mediatek chip is the same.
@@YoussGm Hey! Just letting you know that the custom roms that you used in the video work perfectly fine on my tablet (Lenovo A3500-hv). Btw, thank you for making this tutorial!
You could always try, would it work? Probably not. I would advise against intalling roms that aren't made for your specific device. If you know how to flash the original rom to fix the tablet if it has any issues, then you do at least have a backup plan to make it work again. If not, tread carefully.
The roms I used in the video aren't gsi so they don't work with all devices, presumably, i can't test. But for your tablet, I found some for the 8505f model, the wifi only no LTE. You can try to use it, but LTE might not work. xdaforums.com/t/lenovo-tab-m8.4049539/post-84209395 xdaforums.com/t/lenovo-tab-m8.4049539/post-84320503
It should work, steps are the same, you need to download the correct custom rom for your specific model though. Also verify that your mediatek chip is the same as the scatter file.
I don't know if it works. The Rom was made for versions F and H of the tablet. Someone tested and it works on the HV version, other than that for the FL I have no information.
Hey i have a tablet which is very old its ice cream sandwich version its like 3 or 4 Android version can i upgrade it to a 5 or higher version and it has charging issue to it doesn't charge much and i use it while on charge. So can you please tell ne how can i do it if possible
It all depends on the model of your tablet. Reply with the exact model of your tablet and I will look if there is a custom rom available. If it's a random brand of tablet it will be difficult to find but it won't hurt to try.
Doesn't look like there's an existing custom rom, i searched on 4pda.to . It's not possible to easily upgrade to a higher android version. The only way is to wait for someone to make a custom rom, which might be never, or make it yourself/ask someone to do it, which will be very difficult. Upgrading the android version won't improve the battery life, and on hardware this old it's not really worth it. For me, even after updating my tablet, it still sits in my drawer because the battery life is bad and it's still slow and doesn't support latest apps.
If at any step, when you try to turn the tablet on but it stays off, just wait 10 seconds then try to turn it on again by pressing the power button for 5 seconds.
If you think it's stuck and not turning on, try holding the hard reset button under the sd card tray for 10 seconds with a sim ejector tool, i do the steps at 14:53

Hi plz plz reply me as soon as possible i have one tablet which is old and tablet name is Quantum android version is 4.1.1 and i want to update and upgrade to android version 4.1.1 to 13 plz help me tell me what is solution
Basically impossible to upgrade from 4.1.1 to 13.
You will have to search on google for your exact tablet model and followed by custom rom and see if a custom rom exists for your tablet. It wont be android 13 though.
@@YoussGm ok 13 android version not only I want to open latest version google play store and UA-cam and WhatsApp latest and GG mouse pro app for game etc just it plz help me like if tell you my tablet model then Can you help me plz plz
@@YoussGm it is possible to 4.1.1 to 10 android version or not plz tell me
I dont know your tablet model as you haven't told me so I wouldnt be able to tell you. You can google it by yourself as well...
@@YoussGm I tell you later when I free can you give me your WhatsApp number and I tell all information about tablet then tell me solution ok
Does this work on the lenovo a3500-hv too?
Yes, the steps are the same. The only thing different is the custom rom, you need to make sure it's the one for the hv model.
Also verify that the mediatek chip is the same.
@@YoussGm Hey! Just letting you know that the custom roms that you used in the video work perfectly fine on my tablet (Lenovo A3500-hv). Btw, thank you for making this tutorial!
Great! Glad it worked!
Can i install this gsi rom on tb 8505X
You could always try, would it work? Probably not. I would advise against intalling roms that aren't made for your specific device.
If you know how to flash the original rom to fix the tablet if it has any issues, then you do at least have a backup plan to make it work again. If not, tread carefully.
@@YoussGm So gsi doesn't work in any device? can u help me out in finding custom rom for Lenovo tb-8505x
The roms I used in the video aren't gsi so they don't work with all devices, presumably, i can't test.
But for your tablet, I found some for the 8505f model, the wifi only no LTE.
You can try to use it, but LTE might not work.

Works for A3500-FL?
It should work, steps are the same, you need to download the correct custom rom for your specific model though.
Also verify that your mediatek chip is the same as the scatter file.
@@YoussGm I asked about the rom the roms works?
@@YoussGm it's Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich
Model :- iBall Slide i5715
Doesn't look like there's an existing custom rom, i searched on 4pda.to .
@@YoussGm Oh got it bro thanks for the research I was gonna install a custom rom without knowing anything about it
