It is customary for car builders to ship by rail whenever they can as rail shipping is cheaper than truck. These vehicles will go to Canada or California.

Wow that is a lot of Tesla's! That is the difference between production and delivery. All those cars will be delivered to customers. Legacy auto has already counted those cars as sold!
Too bad Giga Texas doesn't have rail spur so could cut out the extra transport.

I live next to GigaTexas and see the Cybertrucks getting cranked out daily and loaded onto the car carriers and heading out on the highways to their destinations …. Super fun, watching the newborn CTs get delivered by the Tesla storks😊

You mean trucks that run at 80% less of it capacity and an ugly truck at that. It's like a box impregnated a DeLorean.
Less than 200 Cybertrucks have been produced to date Jan 4 2024. There are not new Cybertrucks delivered every day; there were zero on the 4th, or 3rd. There will not be any significant number produced in 2024; this is because the 4680 is a massive fail. The original 16% higher density battery is never going to be made and Tesla has downgraded to 10% more Dense 4680b which they still cannot mass produce efficiently. Absolutely mininmal production will be rolled out in 2024. Under 50,000 maybe even as little as 5000.

Wasn’t long ago that these kind of comments were made about Model Y early in the planned ramp. It is now the best selling EV ever. And was the global #1 selling vehicle for 2023, including gas vehicles.
