Ahh, so I see you liked keeping your hair straight the minute you got more and more length?...
And although I'm sure it didn't "set you back" from your goal, I can't help wondering if you would
have had even more length had you kept on doing the "wash n go's" as opposed to using heat?...

lorettalynn Davis Hmmm. No way to tell. That is a good question. I'm thinking that if it's properly done, the straightening doesn't have an affect on length retention though.

Just flat ironed today after 17 months post relaxer. My hair is her length after no heat for the same amount of time

+Aida Sanyu In the beginning of my journey I wore a lot of protective styles (i.e wigs) so that it can grow. Closer to the 1yr mark when it would fit in a ponytail I started wearing it straight some days and in a high bun some days. I just did a second mini big chop which I will post that video soon. I cut about 4" off.
