Loved this vlog!! Great to see the beautiful shops, you and Charlie together. Such great content. I am from the south in the US. Fried green tomatoes are a staple here. Use a corn meal and flour breading for best results. Also, I crumble goats cheese and a small dollop of pepper jelly on top of each slice right out of the oil. It is a great flavor combo. If you like spicy whiz up some cream cheese and Cayenne pepper for a topping!! Pimento cheese is also a great topping for hot fried green tomato. Plain with a little salt and pepper works great, too. I really hope you like them however you decide to eat them👌

I really loved this vlog - Living in a large urban center, I wish we had more access to local produce. Chicago has some amazing Farmer's Markets in the summertime, but the rest of the year forces us to trave around 100 miles outside the city center to get to Pumpkin Patches, etc. It's amazing that you live within such a close distance to the finest produce, as you do. The Cotswolds look like the most magical area - What a blessing that you live there!

Just personal preference, but I far prefer videos filmed by you or Charlie when you’re talking to each other, rather than when someone else films more professionally like it’s a TV program - the casual banter is far more enjoyable than the more formal presentation!

Hi Josie, I love the Sherpa gilet and country outfit . It’s not shearling because that is actually a skin from a sheep or lamb. Sherpa is the name use for fake shearling fur. ❤️🇨🇦 I love country shops - such a nice way to enjoy locally grown and cooked food in the autumn and the fresh air and autumn leaves where we are ! 🇨🇦🍂
Love this vlog traveling around locally! Wow farm shops have come a looong way! Growing up there in the 70s, pumpkins didn’t exist in England and Halloween was ‘bob the apple’ (apples in cold water and try to bite them by sticking your face in the water) and hollow out a raw turnip (the fun…) then go door to door saying ‘penny for the lantern’ and people shutting the door in your face. On a cold dark and rainy night. It was interesting to watch pumpkins get introduced there and see pumpkin and halloween fever hit the UK from afar. Makes things so much more fun :). Enjoying watching you layer up for the weather when its still in the 90s here. Two wool layers and a coat…😮😂

As an American living in the country I've made my share of fried green tomatoes, but just yesterday I made a spiced green tomato bread. It tastes like zucchini bread (you just use your fav sweet zucchini or apple bread/muffin recipe). So fun to leave everyone guessing about the secret ingredient!

This was a brilliant blog Josie..I enjoyed it so much. Some years ago I brought my Mum to the UK (from Australia). We drove the length and breadth of the country and spent about 10 days in a very charming stone cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold and explored the Cotswolds from there. We were both quite sad at the time as my Dad had died not long before but we absolutely loved pottering around the Cotswolds. It brought such joy to us both. My Mum has also since died but I know she would have loved to watch this video. You and Charlie are great together.

Lydia deserves all the success she's making. If someone receives something then that means they deserve it and they understand the game. Lydia is very good at knowing what to post here and on Instagram, she gets it and she has a special sense of beauty and a view of life that make people intrigued to see. Loved the Cotswolds footage! Although I wasn’t a fan of the camera settings. Felt like only 10% of the screen was in focus and footage was overexposed to the point where it hurt my eyes. But the content was amazing and I loved the following around aspect. ❤

I couldn't agree more on the importance of supporting Local and all of the benefits to both parties. We have a lot of nice Farm Stands here in New Hampshire and I try to do as much of my "Grocery Shopping" at those stands as I can. Beaufort & Blake looked absolutely gorgeous. I would have thought the sofa at the end of the bed would be handy for clothes, sitting by the fire and keeping the draught out at the end of the bed? The Cotswolds reminds me of the Dedham Vale and there are so many lovely rural areas in England that do farm shop produce. Suffolk has a lot as well. Sheepskin rugs on benches always make me excited for Autumn/Winter.

Nice to see our local jolly nice featured. I live on the edge of the common at Minchinhampton. Cirencester is the posh town Painswick is the historic (also posh lol) town Stroud area nice houses around. Stroud town centre not so much. Good food in the five valleys centre and good farmers market otherwise not much Nailsworth is much better. ❤
You might like to try Toddenham Manor farm shop, it's only wee but sells amazing meat I thought of Charlie's roast rib of beef, we bought some amazing pork belly and delicious indian spiced chutney. They also have a cafe cute little marquee for coffees and snacks. It's towards Moreton so you could do Fosseway garden centre and Aldi, recommend the extra thick sirloin steak, at the same time! Good hack re the Woodruff x

Lydia deserves all the success she's making. If someone receives something then that means they deserve it and they understand the game. Lydia is very good at knowing what to post here and on Instagram, she gets it and she has a special sense of beauty and a view of life that make people intrigued to see. She is doing a phenomenal job. I don't think there's a need for comparison, each person has their own art, and I'm surprised that Josie liked this comment when it criticized another creator!!

Loved the Cotswolds footage! Although I wasn’t a fan of the camera settings. Felt like only 10% of the screen was in focus and footage was overexposed to the point where it hurt my eyes. But the content was amazing and I loved the following around aspect. ❤

I couldn't agree more on the importance of supporting Local and all of the benefits to both parties. We have a lot of nice Farm Stands here in New Hampshire and I try to do as much of my "Grocery Shopping" at those stands as I can. Beaufort & Blake looked absolutely gorgeous. I would have thought the sofa at the end of the bed would be handy for clothes, sitting by the fire and keeping the draught out at the end of the bed? The Cotswolds reminds me of the Dedham Vale and there are so many lovely rural areas in England that do farm shop produce. Suffolk has a lot as well. Sheepskin rugs on benches always make me excited for Autumn/Winter.

I was busy with work so have two vlogs to catch up on. Heaven. Minus the tomatoes. I hate tomatoes 😂. My dad grew amazing tomatoes apparently. I never tasted them because they actually make me gag. So autumnal. Wonderful as always Josie. Thank you x
Nice to see our local jolly nice featured. I live on the edge of the common at Minchinhampton. Cirencester is the posh town Painswick is the historic (also posh lol) town Stroud area nice houses around. Stroud town centre not so much. Good food in the five valleys centre and good farmers
market otherwise not much Nailsworth is much better. ❤

You might like to try Toddenham Manor farm shop, it's only wee but sells amazing meat I thought of Charlie's roast rib of beef, we bought some amazing pork belly and delicious indian spiced chutney. They also have a cafe cute little marquee for coffees and snacks. It's towards Moreton so you could do Fosseway garden centre and Aldi, recommend the extra thick sirloin steak, at the same time! Good hack re the Woodruff x
