I find it extremely hypocritical that the United States is telling somebody else where not to go. you have so much crime in this country the people shoot you and The church in the grocery stores. road rage on the . Physician heal thy self start dealing with a crime of guns on your streets. Your kids are not even safe to go to school. They should start putting that concerned in their own country. Maybe you she’ll start focusing on your own country Maybe that would be less crime and maybe then you could give other people advice.

If it were that simple,my kids are ok too raise in the UK. When you are living a poor life it doesn't take a lot to fall over the edge.

This is going on too long, It’s time For change, the need for better healthcare is long overdue. Every Parish should have 3 Ambulance, every Clenic should have ambulance on standby for emergency. Every parish should have a local 119 emergency station to receive emergency calls for police and a ambulance 🚑. The police would investigate at crime scene, and the ambulance transport the injured to the hospital 🏥
What if a disaster stuck Jamaica? Would they be able to help the citizens ?
It’s very alarming to find out that if a foreigner had an emergency and goes to any hospital there or mayn’t reach there , because there’s no emergency vehicle to take anyone to the hospital. If they’re financially secured, they can afford to fly to the USA. Even so it’s the same thing for the Jamaica people
This is very ridiculous. It’s 2024! Updated equipments and building for hospitals and clinics. The same for the police stations, better pay with benefits for them as well. Amend the road traffic law.. stiffer penalties with suspend their drivers license. Enforce the speed limit.. make it be law for motorists to slow down and change lane if there’s an accident, a disabled vehicle, emergency vehicle or police traffic stop or investigation. The Law enforcement and the military should be respected at all times. At no time should they used their power to manhandle the citizens…
Top of the agenda is bring back capital punishment, The Government should take back JPS from foreigners . Finally, go after the people who’re not paying their taxes. It’s needed to build the country’s broken economy and system. Taxes shouldn’t be used to feed or care for convicts.
Ambulance services, yes. Better roads and repairs, with clear signage, posted speed limits would also assist the drivers.
If the police are not paid, someone else will pay them. Police pay with benefits, yes, alongside overtime pay as ordered by the court,
would enhance the fight against crime. Hungry and homeless policemen cannot fight crime.
Capital punishment no, we need a more efficient and just admistration of justice. The current system charges and sentences many innocent people. Capital punishment may kill the innocent youth, man or women.
We need to find cheaper and more efficient ways of supplying the population with their energy needs.
A more efficient system of collecting taxes, could increase tax revenue.
But more integrity in our governance would greatly assist our broken systems at this time.
There are many people and companies willing to invest in the country but the crime, violence and lack of worldclass healthcare facilities has prevented many would be investors. For every 5 hotel built a hospital and a health care tourism hotel hospital needs to be built.
Overall we need a reset of our old institutions and mindset. We also need to build new institutions to meet our modern day needs and culture. Thus removing many of our old colonial institutions.
Too much social media. No time for home work. I hope there can be improvement in the education system. All the work cannot be left on the teachers . Parents must help.

Jamaica will never have a highly educated work force, as long as teachers keep leaving for greener pastures. The government/politicians pay themselves well, while other civil servants barely survive. As the saying goes " you get what you pay for."
Campion and the few similar high schools don't make much of a dent when you average hundreds of high schools...but yes they'd still be tops on a global basis. The fact that they are tops speaks to a different problem tho
