I timed them once and it was just over 4mph, however it's best to get through tunnels as fast as possible to reduce the chance of meeting another boat, and to get 'em ahead.
While the video quality is much superior to the original video of the first run, the original video has the old boatmen that did the run, its so much more informative and explains all about the run, the locks, the places, the pubs, the life. Getting hold of a copy is much more difficult. great film though all the same.
