I was lucky enough to see Johnny and June at the Lake County Fair in
Northeastern Ohio in the summer of 1992. I remember wondering if their age (early 60's) would have an effect on the show. The stage was a semi-truck trailer, June was kicking up her heels from one end of the stage to the other while Johnny played a blistering 15 minute harmonica solo with a movie screen behind them, film of a steam locomotive. All this while high 90's heat and humidity. Encore after encore.
After the show, Johnny announced there would Christian-based counselors for anyone who needed help, alcohol, drugs or otherwise.
I can still feel the peace and pride in our country in the air.

She's avoiding the question. Because she doesn't want to admit. That he was married before her. And until Vivian divorced him, and he was living with Waylon, and Bob Dylan, did she have any interest. It was not the drug problem, she had one of her own.

      Yup
And then she goes on all these interviews and claims his daughters as her own, like she raised them all, all by herself.
When in reality his first wife raised them. Literally all by herself, their whole lives. Johnny was never around. And she had the balls to make it seem like Viv never existed.
