    Building my RAW 700 KSE now. I should have built a Goblin ages ago. What a fabulous quality kit and instructions.
    Watching you maiden yours while I wait to maiden mine.... Nice big space you've got to fly there.

      Ya you will like it. I think I built and flew over 26 Goblins back in the day. Solid machines.

    Goblin makes the best looking helicopters it just so beautifully shaped an aerodynamic it's totally different than any other collective pitch out there in terms of the way it looks it's beautiful so streamlined the tale is what really gets me I love the Tails integrated with the canopy so all one piece

    Tell ya man, those pulse batteries pack a punch. I use those on my Trex 500L Dominator and they're great. They don't heat up a lot nor swell.

      If your concerned about having to spend several hundred dollars, it is not necessary. I started with Walkera Master CP. It will run you just about $225usd(with tx, battery and charger). I thought it to be pretty stable. I Have yet to crash it after several flights but have not tried to go inverted.

      thomas seeley actually I have a V450D01, V450D03 plus 2 other 450 sized birds, a 500 sized bird, 2 x 250 sized birds and 3 x 100 sized birds. The Goblin looks and sounds gorgeous! Better than any other pod & boom style helis :)

    SAB should come out with a way to put the pushrod inside the boom for 630, 700, and 770, as their later models do. The booms are too beautiful to keep the rods outside. I have 570.

    • @majorsmackdown
      @majorsmackdown 9 років тому

      grasuh - the rod inside the 570 looks nice but is bound up a bit and not as smooth as it could be.... tradeoffs I guess

    • @grasuh
      @grasuh 9 років тому

      majorsmackdown
      Well, the fact that all later models (570, Urukay, and 380) have the rod inside suggests SAB figured there is no problem with it.

    • @majorsmackdown
      @majorsmackdown 9 років тому

      grasuh and GM knew their ignition switches could cause deadly crashes, and they figured there was no problem with it.. that's just a funny way of thinking. Anyhow, from experience, the internal rod looks nice but looks aren't everything. look into the problems some people have with the belt eating up the linkage.. and that's besides the binding issues. Yes it works - but it's not perfect by any stretch.

    Hey Chris witch one u think is better to see in the air the Orange and white or the red

    • @crmodels
      @crmodels  9 років тому +1

      All of the SAB color schemes show up excellent in the air. I would go with the Orange one though over the dark red :)

    Hey Chris just a question. I have a 700 and a 570 amongst my fleet. I run ikon on all of them. No problems. Until now I have one on the 570 and it flies good but it will not piro level. I have checked cog many times and everything else including resetting it all and going through set up again. Any suggestions ?

    • @crmodels
      @crmodels  10 років тому

      Did you change batteries? Send iKON a message and de did they have any suggestions. I've never heard of that issue:

    Now servos what you recommend BK's or MKS

    • @crmodels
      @crmodels  9 років тому

      They are both excellent servos. Depends on your budget. I'm a MKS Team Pilot and have been flying them for over two seasons now. Tons of power, fast, durable and look great. If your looking for a good budget servo check out BK's coreless servos.
