Yes, she is. I know she will be vindicated - if not her, her children will be. I pray it does not take that long. I pray that Christ Jesus gives her career and herself victory over the dark forces that have conspired against her. Having said that, Monique and hubby need to apologise to Tyler Perry for releasing audio of a provate conversation - without his knowledge or permission. That was wrong. I understand she needed to show the world she had been wronged but that was not a kind thing to do.

I agree, her whole rant campaign is about money. If her husband is so good at negotiating deals for her, why isn't she working in films now? His way of doing things has ruined her career but she will never admit that.

If she really felt that way she wouldn't be complaining and trying to sue Netflix over money. 500k ain't good enough money to her, she wants more. She's just saying all that stuff because she's not getting what she thinks shes worth, but it's not up to her to tell people what she wants to be paid. If they had felt she was worth more, they would have offered her more. She's not a big draw in comedy and her latest projects have proved that.

@@umchinagirard1800 not really... Monique is a terrible business person. All talk no power. The problem with some of us black people we see white as evil. There is nothing wrong with all the people that you have called out. If monique wants to be successful she needs to play the game. You can't call out victim when you like to sit on the sidelines and complain.
Every single person knows that Hollywood is a toxic place... but its were you want to go to be successful or you could do what the indie artists do... Tyler and Oprah and Whoopi have told her what they did from their experiences. She rejects the advice but then complains about it.
How is she expecting this to end? They are going to change their minds and suddenly give her money.
You either play their game and win or start your own thing and be successful.

It's no different than an Olympian hiring a new trainer after high school or college. It's no different than a client hiring the BEST lawyer they can hire. It's called making a business decision. It's not personal. And they have intertwined their personal lives with business. It never mixes. That's why counselors who have their own marriage problems don't counsel themselves...

Maybe Monique's legacy is not what we think. Yes she is a dynamic actress and deserves Oscars. But what if that is not her purpose here on earth. Maybe her legacy is shining light on the injustices African American actors/actresses have to go through. Maybe her legacy is to break the chains that bind minority actors/ actresses in Hollywood. She seems strong, happy, solidified on her platform and focused. Maybe she has a different purpose in this life that is a much bigger picture than being a Hollywood star.

Other black entertainers are speaking out, they are just not doing things the way she did them. And with some, people have come to their aid and spoke up for them in some instances so they would get paid more money. The way Monique is going about things, is not going to get her nothing. As you can see, the people whose attention she is trying to get are not paying her any attention and they are not supporting her. BLACKLISTING --- Is the interference with a person's ability to work or become gainfully employed. Blacklisted is the action of a group or authority, compiling a blacklist of people, countries or other entities to be avoided or distrusted as being deemed unacceptable to those making the list.
Blacklisted countries will be subject to economic sanctions and other prohibitive measures by FATF member states.
Are these type of abusive systems or prohibitive actions unbalanced/discriminatory that directly prevents Mo'Nique the ability to earn living wages due to her stance (fairness) on employment practices in the USA? 🤔

If you look at her last interview she did on UA-cam she spoke on the closed door meeting of the sisters of Hollywood (let’s say icons who are still a major deal in the industry) and Oprah Monique schooled Oprah and she said those women in that room AGREED with Monique.....so you would think black Hollywood would change the narrative the ride the system to get along when you have numerous entertainers who was abused and blackballed by the same treatment were now seeing today. This isn’t new....most of our entertainers are slaved by that system and if we don’t change it....more people trying to come into that system will continue to be abused and used up and thrown away and possibly dying trying to stay famous in that evil Hollywood system

Monique is a good example of how a woman should be as a partner and the husband also respect her in the same regard. I was taken aback when she apologized for interrupting Sidney of which she has done in most of her interviews...it's humbling. She doesn't let her success or ego overpower Sidney and doesn't interrupt or talk over him even though she's a star. It's no surprise they make a good team because they have mastered basic skills needed in a marriage, respect, communication and loyalty. I just had to acknowledge that. He maybe the best husband in the world, but he probably was the worst manager for Monique, who knows.
Sometimes it is wise to separate family from the business.
She should have looked for producers who were willing to work with her manager, instead of complaining for whole decade.

So the beef is that OW, TP and LD have not publicly come forward to say what's been said in private? I'm all for standing for what you believe in. The issue seems that this is costing her emotional peace more than the financial part. I can feel it as she speaks now and in the past. Our energy does not lie. When we no longer allow the actions of others to affect us, that is where our true POWER is.

I'm extremely critical and skeptical of so many things, including Monique when I first heard of this so many years ago.
But I'm not critical for critics sake. I need to be in order to then fully attempt to break down my own bias and debunk my own beliefs on a topic.
With Monique's situation, it didn't take very long for me to see just how right she was. Monique is a better, wiser leader than 99% of "leaders" validated by the masses. Just look at what all of her elders have told her. They have tried to lead her astray, to devalue herself and compromise her beliefs.
I pray that her and her husband are seeing that you don't need to dance with these devils at all. In fact, there's a spiritual clamoring for exactly what they're bringing to the table.
Really and truly, I have so much respect for her as a human being.

For the record... Whoopi never told Monique to leave her marriage. 😂 Whoopi told Monique that ppl don’t like her husband, and her husband was having a negative impact on her career. (Fact) Whoopi said he should be fired as her manager.
Whoopi is not the first person to say this. No one in Monique’s life likes Sydney. No one.
Not even her oldest son. If my friend had a man in her life that fractures several important relationships, and runs her career into the ground...i would warn her to look at the common denominator too. 😒 wouldn’t you?😑 Whoopi did nothing wrong.

You can tell by how he (and Monique) insult women who don’t have husband or try to use Whoopi & Oprah being unmarried as a “read”. Example; “all the women telling me to fire my husband don’t have one...” 😒 So? 😩😂
As if both Oprah & Whoopi can’t go get a bum ass nigga like Sydney to marry them, and pay all his bills.😂 Husbands like Sydney are NOT a prize or an accomplishment. It's possible that Sydney loves the position he placed Monique in. There are some men who are quite insecure when their spouses or significant others out-earn them and are more visible than they are. I think Sydney doesn't really want Monique to succeed. He probably delights in the difficulty he's created for her.
I don't see a supportive spouse in Sydney. I see an insecure, manipulative, puppet master.
