It's raining heavily here in kanpur , reading a book named Gunaho ke devta , UA-cam was playing in the background in low volume. When this song started playing had to stop reading and came here to comment. Such an amazing feeling.

Ali sethi maybe the most underrated singer ever but that doesn't bother me because he has his own class and his own little special world .He is a musical genius . I hope he never goes too mainstream because this is what he is good at. He is good at delivering these classical masterpiece which soothe your soul and make you ache for more.
In these times , he is the best thing that happened to music.
This journey started with umran langiyaan and i am sure he is gonna dazzle for many more years to come

He has too many good influences around him, esp his family to lose his way musically. Also, he really isnt financially motivated. Comes from a very privileged background.
I guess you need to get your facts right before you put anything in public. Your statement is by far the most unintelligent that I read on Ali Sethi. He is revered by personalities like Vishal and Rekha Bhardwaj, The Berkeley Music School almost all musicians from India adore his work, not to forget the fans he has garnered across the globe. I haven't seen someone as versatile as him, his academics achievement to books that he published, his interviews in Urdu and English, he is an immaculate English speaker and of course his singing, he is a trained classical singer. I mean your comment is so LAME!

The only thing that matters with a solid artist like you is a good arrangement in tow, and it worked so well here. Marvellous Ali, Marvellous Akhtari Bai Faizabadi, marvellous Khayyam. Life is good. Like I said, You should sing all the songs, all the songs. Everything. Thank you for choosing to sing, among the various other things you could have done and dare I say, excelled at. Khoob jiyo Ali.
