My brother's high school girlfriend made him a CD when they were together. My brother would play this song (the Spanish version) in the car all the time. To the point I knew all the lyrics. My brother was shot and killed in 2006 when he was 20 years old. I never had the chance to ask him the name of this song. For years I searched and searched for it but no one knew what song I was talking about. One night I was driving and the English version of this song came on the radio. I looked and found the Spanish version and started bawling 😭 I was 16 when he died and it took me 14 years to find this song. Even though it's a love song I will always think of him when I hear it. I miss my brother so much 💔😭

Today I spoke to an old friend that was at a party at my house years ago one night we played this over and over ..I haven't seen her in years either...today we spoke..and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I just listened to the english version...but the spanish version is the one instilled in my memories. Take care of yourself. I hope youre heart has found peace and healing.
sorry for your loss, this song reminds me of my girlfriend when i was 19 after i had just lost a girlfriend that died in a car accident i loved the girl that died and its funny the one after i loved her alot too this was in 2005 after i lost the love of my life in 2004, they say every man has 3 great women in their life and both of them are 2 of my great women so this song reminds me of both because of how i was feeling at the time

I just remember his last name Santiago. His name is Carlos Santiago.

My older brother has "Siempre sin amor" tattooed on the back of his neck because he fell in love with a first generation Mexican American Castillo chick in South Central back in like 2002. So then he married a chick from El Salvador who lived in South Central (LA now) so she could get her green card and bring her kids here. He never got over Castillo though.I think she is the only person he has ever actually loved.
When my husband and I started talking, he sang this song, deticating to me in order to win 2 tickets to go see a movie together. I did not know of this until few months later. I love my hubby...:)
