@@jwillenbo I know you're salty. Good.
Underwood's M.O.: keep building relationships; never burn bridges.
This is HUGE. Hope this results in some good ones arriving!
Happy to have OA back, but it'll be interesting to see what this looks like as we've gone the way of transfer portal instead of prep. I guess recruiting is recruiting. Take a shot every time Jeremy mentions Ben Humrichous.
In reality so far you can argue (not counting outgoing seniors) Illinois has upgraded over each spot that has left including assistant coach recruiting.
We traded Baltimore talent for New York talent. Best move of the off season.
Hope to see Orlando bring many players to completeness wherein they can do it all especially centers. Wondering who can replace Terrence and be the 1 man fast break and so much more.
Ask the Uconn coaches if assistant coaches with ties matter.
TY and Luke are must keeps. They are the ones that will tech the others the Illini way!
Jeremy you are overrating this. The NIL is going to determine where guys go. The years of the connected asst coach is over.
I agree that money rules today BUT there will still be many instances when NIL. $ will be comparable between schools and. Connections and reputation will then be an important factor.

What a silly statement, right after Sincere Harris and Amani IMMEDIATELY left after their key assistant coach left.
Look at Hansberry and Harris…
They were connected to an assistant coach lol
What a dummy
Can he teach free throw shooting ?
