After watching countless videos with too much talking and not enough specifics, this guy doesn't say a word and concisely demonstrates all you need to know to test transformers in under first 2 minutes. Excellent job!!!
sir, thank you for the tutorial, please help, why did you test the first transformer on the label has written 230v a.c and on the bottom written is 12v a.c, why did you write that the primary is AC and the secondary is DC? I'm confused sir, please explain
Thank you for the video. I have a question at 3:24, you measuring DC voltage with the meter setting for AC voltage, why? I'm a beginner so why am I asking?
You did NOT check for continuity between any of the windings and the transformer core. This can lead to over heating, excessive power comsumption and even electricution.

Since we are testing a transformer, both the input and output are AC. The output AC may then be converted to DC.

Thank you so much! Very precise and to the point.
You stated dc output which is incorrect.it will still be ac.
There is no DC output. Delete the incorrect text.

It´s just a mistake, since you CAN'T transform an AC input to a DC output from the same AC transformer. So, there's no DC output... just an AC one.
It's ac until you rectify the ac to dc using diodes.
You did NOT check for continuity between any of the windings and the transformer core.

Bravo.......u can run them backwards......cheers
good tqvm
Thanks for sharing
Thanks bro
Transformer can't work on DC voltage. You should have mentioned ac output voltage at secondary side. Wrong information
Good
Bro secondary side kuda ac bro adee stepdown transformer
Not ac to dc converter bro
Assalamalikum.
walaikum assalam
So is that a good transformer.. If yes why is it giving u values...
ALHAMDULILLAH
I’d rather expect a short explanation what you are doing there instead of testing more samples and throwing values.
Video is OK, but too much background noise
He was putting in AC 200v and he saying dc output
u don't know what ur doing
Or you could just read the label on the transformer that clearly states the wire color and values. Lol!
can have an open or a short, best test before plugging in
@@dicko-200 yes, of course. I was just making a joke. 😀
The sounds are annoying
Mute the sound and watch the video 🙂
