I only knew one legend from Seattle besides THE local hero Jamal - His name is Constantine Papanicolaou or as widely known in the ghetto the "Greek Cobra". Best drives, smooth moves, he could literally dunk over my face. Hope you are well bro, wherever you are today.

Olympia was a great team that year..should have won the state title..they played way too tight that night..if they played like they were capable, they would have won by 20 pts..

Hey were all humans and I was at this game, but even though I didn't think about it at all at that time, but this is an all white school vs all black school. Its pretty sketch actually. This is basically Like some carry baby jedidiah down to the river and wash him while everyone sings softly children of the corn type of shit versus some deep in the heart of african jungle guys cruising around with spears shit...or basically like the deep in the Gambia (rainier beach) vs some sketchy brainedwashed religious cult(Olympia). But i never really noticed it in then because both teams respected each other on the court and were just there to play basketball even though the backgrounds are totally different.

Over the years of living in WA state and having watched my share of HS basketball, I would agree. Though your obtuse description of both groups are overly caricatured.
