- in Part 4 of our Honeymoon we finally got a good weather day in Maine and made the most of it with a Hike and a paddle! Then we enjoyed our last night in the old cabin before driving over to New Hampshire in the Morning.

We are a (sort of) normal couple living a rather unusual lifestyle in a Tiny House on Wheels (192 square feet) trying to fit more adventure, travel and exploration into our lives! My family and I use to vacation in Maine on Sebago Lake every summer through out the 1980s. We stayed in a cabin which looked exactly like the one you stayed in. Only it was a little bigger and on the lake. My dad rented it from a guy he worked with. I have a lot of fond memories of our time there. Eating lobster bisque at The Red Sands restaurant, renting an outboard motor and tooling around the lake, swimming all day, playing cards with my mother, going to the movies with my dad. Since then, though, I have never really enjoyed going away on vacation.
It is a great area- has such a cozy vibe with a lot of those old cabins that are still there. Sounds like maybe you would enjoy a return trip to Sebago Lake 😊
I got upset about something this evening so it was very calming seeing you guys in the forest when you shared all the nature sounds - thank you for that. I’ve only been kayaking once in Florida but it also seems like a nice way to explore (so long as the wind is with you!). I hope you had a great backpacking trip in the White Mountains, maybe we’ll get to see some of that? Btw - say yes to all the baked goods! You’re both so active I feel like you deserve to have them anytime you want 😁
I am so glad the video helped you to relax ❤️ that is what we strive for! paddle sports are very wind dependent- it can be lovely or it can be an exhausting struggle! It is funny- when we are home we eat a very healthy diet...but when traveling & hiking we do indulge- especially to try a local specialty 😊

its a great area- lots to do with water sports and hiking, easy drive into Portland or to check out the coast 👍 you will enjoy it!
