As a millennial who has been in the protests a couple of times, been in the X spaces and now here on Iko Nini, I can guarantee you Ruto is on a mission to dilute this movement using two tactics; 1. force - sending fear which will definitely work against him in 2027 2. Infiltrate the movement by buying so many individuals who will spread the gospel 'Ruto means well' all the way hadi mashinani. He doesn't care if everyone is convinced but his game could have played how he wanted, 'I'm popular once again'. This will prepare the ground to ensure all your votes do not count by all means, remember we are talking about Ruto who created imaginary schools which had gates and boards but no classrooms or even students!
All politicians who's corruption cases have been dropped starting with ruto and YK 92, minister for Agriculture in Kibakis gova, Waiguru and NYS, Gachietha etc if we are not going to dig dirty history we are doomed. No meeting with ruto. He means one thing- recycling the status quo but make it look like change. He LOVES his seat guys and he has to keep it by all means. So meeting with him is giving him legitimacy and this is one thing he lacks and has been looking for. The only meeting is to hand over resignation and dissolve parliament
And this is why we shouldn't be worried about the revolution, we have alot of cards to play, ruto might be a political genius, but our constitution is the rules that all politicians must playby. It's an exciting time being a Kenyan we can now have proper civic education on the roles of govt and our personal relationship with the govt. It's the deep philosophical questions of who we are what we want and how to by to do it.
