I absolutely love my Corolla Cross Nightshade, I bought it back in May. it is fun to drive, handles beautifully and the interior and exterior rocks too! I love the JBL speakers they have great sound. The touch screen is large enough to see with ease. I am happy I made the purchase!
It’s a nice car. I already have a 24 crosstrek sport and enjoying it. The Corolla Cross is a new car for Toyota lineup. I like that it’s hybrid. Maybe in the future I would look at the Corolla Cross XSE hybrid
Nice vehicle! I never see the Corolla Cross or Corolla hatch on rhe roads or in advertising in my state..and I am a '"car watcher"! My choice would be a regular Corolla SE sedan..no hybrid, no cuv with minimal accessories. Underground grey with black/red cloth 20:36 is beautiful. "Dynamic Force" 2.O engine is a beauty and I hear little about CVT that has the extra first gear "step off" speed. Take care of one of these and you will still have a good car in 10 years. Mostly basic SE sedan non-hybrid and you save BIG change..with less utility, I understand. Great review!
yea toyota is wild how they charge so much and cut out industry standard options at that price point. then throw it in your face with the ugly dead switches
The Toyota Crolla Cross "Hybrid Nightshade" is another worthless and poorly designed vehicle from Toyota. The Corolla is the bottom of the barrel and cheap but kind of reliable. No one wants the Corolla GR so why then have the Corolla Cross? Toyota's best vehicles are Camry, RAV4, and Highlander, maybe the Grand Highlander. However, best to get a Naturally Aspirated Gasoline Engine. Hybrids and EVs are not worth a penny or 2 wooden nickels rubbed together.
OK you had me until you started doggin on the gr corolla. We should have gotten the gr yaris but it is what it is. We still get that beefed out 3 cylinder. I mean yea, the corolla is cheap, it's ALWAYS been cheap lol. There's a reason it exists lol. But the gr corolla is in its own category

You’re right about the gas mileage being the only redeeming quality of this car. There are better options out there.

How was the steering? I don't care for a soft drive.
Steering is soft, the faster you go the stiffer it gets. When you stop, the steering almost move without touching it XD
I like my Camry Hybrid SE Nightshade Edition much better!

The new Prius is worth it for the higher HP, look and MPG. Dealer markup is outrageous right now though.
Some people want smaller cars. They don’t need the size of a RAV4 simple as that. PS the Prius has the same engine as the Cross so both has 196 hp.
