Who would know better... not to mention they figure if you're asking them they don't have to worry about you having the necessary credentials to fish there but they just might check up on you to see if you're drinking or anything of that nature.

What you said about your dad was so relatable the first time my dad went fishing was with me and I’ve gotten plenty of those useless Walmart lures but he always takes me even if he doesn’t know what he’s doing and I need to take the fish off the hook for him 😂

Hey 1rod just purchased a tackle box using your code thank you so much ☺️
Old school set ups work best. Doesn't matter if you get all these fancy baits with bells an whistles. A good swim bait get a barrels swivel a snell hook with leed line by eagle claw a bobber. Tie swivel on but the bobber slightly above swivel then hook eagle claw with snell hook size 1 or size 6 use live night crawler or a fluke zoo too or black an blue fluke if waters stained. Also a trout egg corn flavor shrimp or garlic flavor hook bait onto snell hook with leed line attached to the swivel with bobber slightly above swivel. Keep rod tip down an slow reel set up. The bobber will keep bait higher up in water an bait will swim between 8 to 10 inches below water surface an garenteed you'll get bites. Yes description is in depth but it works for sure for more top water.

You could also chuck a Johnsons Silver Weedless Minnow, with a trailer into all that vegitation. Their are many colors and sizes. They cast very good also.

3:45 Don’t be hatin’ on them Walmart lures, man! I basically only use the stuff from Walmart because I’m 14, and I’m poor after I buy my expensive rod and reels 🤠. Just spent $130 that I earned on the farm on a new LEWS rod and like 40 Walmart lures for my sister and I. Hopefully we can slam some nice largies this Friday when we head out.

No way the spot yall got booted from I fished hundreds of times and caught tons of bass and snakehead from (you probably saw my posts on fishbrain lol) and I even had the ranger drive by me almost every time and never got kicked out. Im shocked that you cant fish there, the spot has gotten really over pressured though and isnt as good as it used to be.
