I saw them first time a month later in Louisville, KY Krazy Fest. And then 7 times after that over the years hahaha Going for time 8 tonight! I miss this line up bad though
awesome video!!!!! huge std fan. this is the type tour when chris was more of a vocal frontman singer. haha! so cool. miss the original cast. sick fuckin songs. this thing keeps playing the hits nonstop !
Man, Saves the Day was awesome at this point in time. Nothing quite as good as a band that's young, hungry and absolutely on fire live. They played loud and had the gain cranked. Awesome guitar and bass tone. I hate to say it but once this lineup disbanded, they went downhill fast. Watching live videos of them now, it just seems so gutless compared to this.
@@brianlangley3414 I think I saw them three, maybe four times in that era. Once with H2O, which was this tour, once with New Found Glory and Alkaline Trio (I think), and once with... maybe The Anniversary and Dashboard Confessional before he blew the hell up? And maybe with Face to Face too. I don't know... it was a long time ago and I went to a lot of shows back then! They all sort of blur together.
@@mazdis9724 Agreed, I feel like they played in Virginia Beach about every 4 months for like 2 years straight! I posted the video from the VB Skate Park where they headlined I think on here also. They were the only 2 VHS tapes I could find from my parents attic. So much fun back then!
I saw STD on this tour, probably a month or so after this was filmed they came through Washington DC. It was one of my favorite shows I've ever been to.
What I would give to go back to these days
In a heartbeat dude. Best time of my life.
This is great; of course classic Saves The Day is undeniable, but the pre-show Bloodhound Gang song just adds to the memory of it all.

Completely agreed, they were AWESOME and so much energy in the first 2 albums and those years touring the east coast.
