I'm sure you are aware that there is much more to this story than simply a kind work. Wine is a symbol of joy, turning ordinary life to joy was the whole purpose of Jesus ministry. What we have before salvation once we accept the Father's offer has become completely full of joy with sin forgiven and new life given by our resurrected Lord.
