The greatest evidence to his point today, is how few men are willing to be as forthright and honest as he was in addressing the problem. Power is still moving away from the many and towards the few, because so many stand by while so few stand against the current in defense of freedom.
I wish I was man enough to talk like Milton Friedman did. When I speak about libertarian ideas and policies i'm looked at as if I don't know the secret. The unspoken secret is that socialism is good and we shouldn't doubt its powers. I wish I could persuade people to see the other side, but I believe it will take a huge collapse until people understand for themselves. The USSR did not hit home close enough, I guess.
