I remember liking this season but being very disappointed that Aqualad just gets "fixed" in a single episode. The situation that happened was the cause of so many issues spread around the team members and it seems like there wasn't really a long term consequence while learning the lessons (Megan to not abuse her powers in a way that basically lobotomizes the victims and some team members for not having enough trust with the rest of the team). Meanwhile Wally just dies after barely having any screen time for a decision he didn't even know the risks of.
Yeah. I know M'gann deeply regrets her actions and the show sold me on that, but it always rubbed me the wrong way that she never faced accountability for her actions, especially since the show tends to punish bad actions by both heroes and villains. I would've liked her to step off the Team for a bit or keep her relationship with Conner as just friends, but pretty much nothing of consequence happens to her.
Wally knew the risks of being a hero. He also knew that he was slower, much slower, than the other two. It was foreshadowed in the ep that introduced Bart when he can't keep up with them during their converstaion and when they have to carry him out of danger. He showed up to a secret meeting where the League of Shadows would be present as well as other members of the Light. He's risked his life many times and knows that's the risk when putting on the mask.
M'gann did face long term consequences -accountability- for her actions. After what she did to Aqualad, she was so shaken up by it she didn't fully read B’arzz O’oomm’s (Green Beetle) mind which allowed him to win the trust of the Earth heroes and assist the Reach. M'gann and Conner never got back together in season two. They were slowly reconciling with each other and expressed concerns about each other. It was only until the tie-in comics (Young Justice: Outsider - Torch Songs), that Conner fully forgives her, and eventually after that and before season three they get back together. The deep regret from her abusing her power can be seen throughout the rest of the series. When Despero took over the Hall of Justice, M'gann wouldn't brain blast him even though the team was losing. I'm wondering would you do Robocop 2014. I strongly believe it's an overly underrated film that got worse treatment than MCU Spidey for nostalgic sake. For me in some way it tapped in more philosophy, pondering human meaning than the original. At least this Murphy has a real hand to touch and feel his family.
Yeah I also thought giving him his memories and consciousness right at the beginning was a smart move by the writer. Through that they could have explored deeper themes involving what it means to be a human. But in the end, it's a reboot, it was meant to be cash grabbing.
Great video, but would anyone recommend Young Justice after season 2? I watched it quite a few years ago and never liked season 2 due to it feeling stuffed to the brim with characters and it feeling like the characters never got enough time like they did in season 1 due to that. Then I tried rewatching it again a few months back and I got through half of season 2 and felt the same way. Essentially, do the seasons after 2 cut down a bit on trying to have a massive roster, and go back to a more focused series? Or do they get better at juggling the cast?
I honestly can't really recommend season 2 or 3 tbh, but season 4 was WAY better than either of them, I'd just recommend skipping straight to it instead. Since it (finally) focuses on the main characters from season 1 again you won't be too much out of the loop
Season 3 is definitely the worst out of all of them, they introduced a lot of new characters and tbh I could care less about them. Season 4 is a lot better because it focuses more on the original team and goes more in depth, kinda making up for season 2 and 3.
Well. Personally, Season 3 introduced 5/6 new characters and it was not good, it reminds me of how the CW version of Supergirl was good..until it got on the network and went a bit woke. In Season 3, the only character that is somewhat okay is Tara, but the entire season just sucks in contrast. For example, Beast Boy makes a group called 'The Outsiders' to fight criminals in the public's eye, and I legit could not care less about it. There is too much time focusing on these new characters that make you go 'huh?' every time you see them, because their arcs are stupid. The only episode that has parts that are actually good is Episode 4, which is Dick, Will, Jim, and Roy going on a Private Security job and working through issues in a somewhat comedic way. (Reminiscent of S1 with S2 issues to be dealt with, AKA: Wally) Season 4, it gets better, but it's very confusing, but is great for any comics fan or fan of GLTAS. Season 4 is split into like, 5 or 6 'arcs', focusing on characters from season 1. Arc 1 is focused on Connor, M'gann, and Beast Boy as M'gann and Connor get married on Mars. Beast Boy acts like a complete jerk the entire time, and for the rest of the season. The rest of the characters are fine, but it sets up the main plot for the episodes going forward. Arc 2 is dedicated to Artemis, who is trying to move on from Wally, and having two former Los (League of Shadows) come to her and tell her that the other one is a spy. Arc 3, Zatanna, it's really confusing and you probably have to look up who certain characters are because they legit don't introduce them or are memorable from only YJ. It was somewhat annoying, and Zee acted like Batman. Arc 4 was Kaldur, and they subvert so many expectations, it's laughable how much they do it. It doesn't stay true to the characters motivations at all. Arc 5, was for Rocket, but Rocket wasn't the main focus, she was pushed off to the side. This arc mainly dealt with the Green Lantern Corps, New Genesis, and the Justice League, trying to find a way to manage crime and stuff over the universe. While all this is going on, there are the Legion of Superheroes trying to fix the timeline from a certain character screwing it up. Then there us the focus of mental health. Which, I mean, it's fine. But, what irks me, is the fact that instead of choosing anyone in the original team, they chose Beast Boy. So a lot of screen time is dedicated to him, and it results in basically nothing. The final Arc is good if you've watched the whole season and somewhat liked parts of it, which it was fun to watch. So, TLDR: Season 3- Problematic and bad. Season 4- Problematic and somewhat okay.
The showrunners have listened to the wrong fans. Everyone wants to see the Darkseid invasion and Wally to return. Instead they listen to shippers and put Bart and Eduardo together
The show was so amazing for the first season then the second was ok... then a literal woke pile of garbage that forgot their own characters personalities and good story telling.

Sure, I didn’t enjoy season 2 as much as season 1, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Awesome video essay!
Good video!
Chapter at 5:56 “Oh Holy Night” this is the second video where I’ve noticed you snuck in Christmas music.
What’s going on here!? 😂
Do love that the music tributes are always obligatory, who's forcing you to put them in???
7:02 oof that hasn’t aged well. if you know then you’ll know.
Rip wally 😭
Good video.
Bro Wally's death still hurts so fucking much. 💀😭😭
Wait, was I just educated by a UA-cam video?
BRING BACK WALLY
No Wally westy no me watchy
u observe amazingly
I wonder if he’s one of those fans that doesn’t get the same feel from S3 and S4.
More essay pls.
best
First 2 seasons strongest seasons
🤔Could you do *Everything Everywhere All At Once?* 🧐
Great video, but would anyone recommend Young Justice after season 2?
I watched it quite a few years ago and never liked season 2 due to it feeling stuffed to the brim with characters and it feeling like the characters never got enough time like they did in season 1 due to that. Then I tried rewatching it again a few months back and I got through half of season 2 and felt the same way.
Essentially, do the seasons after 2 cut down a bit on trying to have a massive roster, and go back to a more focused series? Or do they get better at juggling the cast?
Season one was awesome... 2 ok. Now it's a complete woke agenda HBO pile of crap.
I honestly can't really recommend season 2 or 3 tbh, but season 4 was WAY better than either of them, I'd just recommend skipping straight to it instead. Since it (finally) focuses on the main characters from season 1 again you won't be too much out of the loop
@@Stitchless01 Them damn woketard SJWs, spreading the message and agenda of.. understanding and... basic human rights
(Reminiscent of S1 with S2 issues to be dealt with, AKA: Wally)
Season 4, it gets better, but it's very confusing, but is great for any comics fan or fan of GLTAS.
Please start all videos from now on with yo yo yo
This season is where young justice peaked. The new seasons are not as good and often spit on what was built here.
Idk y but lagoon boy calling Megan “angelfish” pisses me off
When is the next Agents of Shield video coming? I don't know where to ask.
Ya
Are you going to do Agents of Shield season 2?
Season 3 review when? Whant to hear you thoughts about Halo.
Can someone tell me who sings the obligatory tribute music please??
No one liked Lagoon Boy .!
surely they bring him back😭😭not wally bruh
I wish they would’ve continued the storyline in the show and not in that video game with awful graphics!

Season 3 of young Justice was so bad compared to 1 and 2
The showrunners have listened to the wrong fans. Everyone wants to see the Darkseid invasion and Wally to return. Instead they listen to shippers and put Bart and Eduardo together
Let Wally stay dead for real, this universe doesn't have to follow the comics in everything.
Shippers are cancer. Nowadays there can't ever be a friendship, they just have to make everything sexual.
Oh god idk how you're gonna cover the dumpster fires that are s3 and s4
Seasons 3 and 4 are fine. Even good sometimes.
Just because they're not s1 doesn't mean they suck.
The show was so amazing for the first season then the second was ok... then a literal woke pile of garbage that forgot their own characters personalities and good story telling.
