Hey beautiful, I put my own texturizers in my myself as well, I always keep my hair short, I’m a BC survivor. I just started using the Scurl Regular Strength that u used, I scoop some out n put into another container n I put just a little strengthening oil or any oil u use on ur hair into the mixture, mix it up n that just adds a little moisture to your hair. After I rinse out the texturizer, I use the neutralizing shampoo, then I give myself a protein treatment, rinse out, then I use a moisturizing shampoo n conditioner, I use Joico Moisturizing S/C, blue bottle. This is what I do… Next, I’m going to learn how to shape up/cut my own hair. I always get a low taper fade, sides n back. I’ve got my clippers/trimmers on order right now. Just wanted to tell you, I really enjoy watching your videos. I like watching your different tips/hair tricks. Keep the videos coming. ❤️
It could be a variety of reasons why. Time, amount, strength of the texturizer or texture of your hair. Thanks for sharing and good luck in you hair journey.
Turned out great. Glad you did the five washings--very important to get all that relaxer out of your hair. Tip: record in landscape
Thanks for the tip!
Love the outcome!

Hi Regina I use texturizer to loosen my natural curls. What causes the spikes at the end of the hair strands?
Being straight when combing through, that's why I push my hair as much as possible when texturizing. Hope this helps.
I use the regular strength too and it never comes out like this😭 maybe I use too little because in the video your put a generous amount all over
