Wow, love it! Was so looking forward to the gig in Pontio, this makes me even more excited to see you guys live when things have calmed down. The video is really cool too. Its great to hear the Welsh combined with dub reggae, totally inspiring. Thanks so much to all of you, diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb.
ONE STYLE MDV and Meinir Gwilym. See I Rise- *1 mic rehearsal recording. Thanks to the team for cutting footage so we can share this song. As our experimental gig in Pontio to introduce our latest collaboration with musicians from Wales has been postponed due to the virus, we wanted to share the vision and ethos, and give thanks to everyone who bought tickets for the evening, which was a lot of you from what Pontio told us. This is for all of you, in these troubling times. Stay Safe. See I Rise #seeIrise We have a song recorded- Yr Ehedydd/The Lark - and will release it as soon as it’s mixed. Soon come 👊🏿 *thanks to Cymru Muzic for letting us use this rehearsal on here Esgyniad yr Ysbryd- Diolch i Cymru Muzic am adael inni ddefnyddio’r trac ymarfer 1 mic yma. A diolch am roi lluniau i’r gân. Mae Pontio wedi gadael inni wybod fod nifer fawr o docynnau wedi eu gwerthu i’r gig sydd nawr wedi ei ohirio oherwydd y feirws. Dyma gyflwyno hwn i chi gyd- yr holl bobol sy’n gwrando a chefnogi’n cerddoriaeth. Arhoswch yn ddiogel- Esgyniad yr Ysbryd (Mae gynnon ni drac wedi ei recordio - Yr Ehedydd - ac mi fydd honno’n cael eu rhyddhau mor fuan a mae hi wedi ei chymysgu) Codwn eto #SeeIRise
Great sounding track. Can't believe I hadn't heard it before (looks like it's been up for three years, at time of writing). It made me think of the band Seize The Day, as it had a vibe similar to something they might have done (maybe around the time of their album Standing Strong). It's not the same, of course. Definitely quite distinct, but there's a certain feel to it that evokes similar emotions. Beth bynnag, dyma gân wych gydag ysbryd cynhyrfus (sorri, dwi ddim yn ffeindio'r geiriau union yn Gymraeg - neu Saesneg!).
Lovely groove, and great to see Floyd singing with Meinir....sound just great together. One love brother.
Got that Red Red Wine vibe 🎶🎶🎶...Meinir likes red wine 🍷 coincidence...I think not 😑
