I’m going in two weeks! TWO FREAKIN’ WEEKS!!! January 14th - my birthday! I am so excited and ready. I’ve been watching videos on this cruise since March 2023. 😭♥️
This is one of the best Cruise line available in the world. Their service and care for the customers is show stopper. They always make sure you have a great sailing experience with them. I can't think of any other cruise line which can compete the virgin voyages. Keep up the good work guys.
Couldn’t agree more! We just completed our first Virgin cruise and loved every bit of it. Fantastic service, great food, and no kids = no brainer for us. We just booked another one in January
I went on one of the first sailings from Portsmouth, UK. The ship absolutely blew my mind! Our group varied in age from 28-62, and every single person adored our time on the Scarlet Lady, so much so that we've booked another trip whilst on the ship on the Valiant Lady in April to Belgium. The show in the red room was a highlight, and the food (especially Gunbae!) is the best I've ever had on a cruise. I was worried there wouldn;t be enough to do - especially since our cruise had no stops, it just sailed around UK waters) but every day was so fun, and the crew are insanely amazing.
Though one negative, that net at the back of Deck 16 is so uncomfortable and borderline painful, watching you jump back on it like that made me wince :')
Virgin Cruises earns top marks in the industry for its vegan & vegetarian restaurant! Kudos also for having so many COMPLIMENTARY specialty-dining restaurants. Looks like they have taken Holland America's cooking demonstration space and concept and elevated it to an entire restaurant!
Only thing I heard that's different is some of the dinning is included. Otherwise it's a ton of "for an additional fee" or for "suite guest only" just like every other cruise line. I thought initially alcohol package was going to be included. Disappointed. I personally do not see any advantage at all over the larger Royal Caribbean ships. And that single, super tiny pool! Yikes!
@@BboySnake71 Isn't the starting point with Virgin Cruises that every guest gets a "a bar-tab worth U.S.$300"? That is the equivalent of a drinks-package included in your fare or not charged extra. Only if you go over that limit, then you would be paying, as far as I have understood it.
I’m going to be going on a cruise on this ship in two weeks! The ship definitely looks amazing! It’s elegant yet modern! I’ve always cruised on Carnival but I have a feeling this will be my favorite ship! I can’t wait! 😍
So like the speciality restaurants on Royal and Carnival you pay extra for. You say all these different restaurants on Vurgin are included? So what you have to do make seperate reservations before you get on ship on the app or when you board. So their food hall takes the place of a buffet then?
Nice overview, Danny! Seems like the vegetarian/vegan options are more plentiful on here than others. I also always think it's funny when I see comments that are basically, "I want something new, but that's exactly like the ships I've already been on."
Well, my intrepid world-traveling (14 countries and counting) son has taken this cruise ship by himself during Valentine's week! lol. He's a weary, tired paramedic and needed a break. I'm sure he'll find plenty to do and just relax from that soul-crushing job finally after all this time he gets a break and took it. Miami to Cozumel! Work outs, massage, relaxing ocean views. Perfect!
Im an avid RC lover. We bit the bullet and decided to sail with Virgin last month. We were very underwhelmed. Not a bad ship, we were more bored than anything lol. Not a favorite but I’d give them a second shot
Danny we just wanted to say 'thank you' for such a great tour, it was very helpful prior to our cruise in July in our Cheeky Corner Suite. Your tours are simply the best on UA-cam and I refer all my viewers to your channel for ship tours. (when they ask me why I don't have any tours, I just tell them I don't have to, Harr Travel has them already) I just love that the tours are no nonsense, top to bottom, front to back so we can really see how the ship is laid out and where everything is. Really makes it great when we board the ship and we have a sense of where things are. As a pair of 56 years olds who were sailing our 8th different cruise line, I can say we were absolutely blown away by Scarlet Lady and the food lived up to the hype. I loved how intimate the ship felt, no big overdone 'grand space' that are really just wasted space, the ship felt much smaller than it really is. So much awesome seating everywhere and I especially loved those two patios on either side of deck 7 between the lifeboats. And going to dinner was an experience each night vs. lining up like cattle for the MDR. Really lovely experience. AND we got to see one Secret Show. What a fun little concept and craziness where the venue is actually located. Again, our sincere thanks for your amazing ship tours, they're incredibly helpful when we're getting ready to visit a new ship.
@@HarrTravel Taylor as someone who has been in the media and content creation industry for over 30 years now, I can tell you your work is top notch. Y'all keep having fun!

appreciate the thorough review of this cruise ship. I can see how some cruisers would love this but it is not for me. You always do such a great job in ship tours. Thank you
Having sailed the ship this past July, I can say that cruising on Scarlet Lady is very much like cruising on Celebrity Cruises. Very similar vibe, only the food is some of the best we've ever had at sea. And that's from cruising 8 different cruise lines now. What was really nice was the fact that each dinner is more of an experience because you're going to a restaurant vs. an MDR or buffet. Because of that, people tended to dress up more so it was more 'going to a nice dinner' vs. 'getting something to eat.' We were absolutely blown away by the experience, not at all what we expected as a pair of 56 year olds. Our only complaint was the cruise was too short at 5 nights. :)
Thank you for the tour. It might not be my personal style, but I do love that they’re trying a lot of different things and not just following the status quo like so many ships and cruise lines.
Thank you for pointing out all charging station and plugs for something you didn’t include was the portable O2 machines. Might have sufficient amount of O2 when I left the cabin but will need to go back probably mid afternoon to charge up for the evening. Mine is good for 5 hours. So plugs are important. Maybe preference sheet might be good to put on there. Of course booking a cabin you have to notify the cruise company about your health situation and needs. But thanks in pointing out all the plugs USB ports.
This video made me want to work out as well as dine till my gut busts. I'm definitely convincing my friends to go with Virgin Cruise Line. This ship makes all other cruise lines seem outdated!

I initially had issues with booking dining on the app prior to sailing but when I was on the ship it became easier as spots opened up. On the first night I ended up befriending a couple and they wanted me to go to dinner with them at Gunbae even though I didn’t have a reservation. There was a slight wait since it was literally a few hours after we left PortMiami and everyone wanted dinner (there was a line out into the galley) but the host was able to accommodate me and the couple I was with and we ended up having a pleasant dinner experience! Night 2 I had a reservation at Pink Agave and I met yet another couple who had the same dinner reservation time as me so I went with them and they were very helpful with sitting us together instead of by myself! I have not heard this Name in a while, cause I remember they used to make Flip Phones.
So adults don’t want water slides I think they could do better with amenities seems more better for older people not for young adults why would I want to play basketball and work out (I’m hearing more wellness )on a cruise I like it’s adult only but they need to do better for more fun
do they have shows didnt here u say anything about that
are you so tall, or do these ceilings seem a bit low in some places.
6'6" so yes, well above average
Drink every time he says complimentary

What’s the song @23:09 and @23:17?
Pool too small would not sail on this ship not the ship for me
It definitely is a small pool.
I’ve also noticed that it’s double the price of royal Caribbean. So it makes sense that more is “included” with the cruise. Ugh! It was just so underwhelming 😢
Hi, what was underwhelming compared to RC? Less entertainment?
@@DrWHAle-zl5eo yes!! And it appeals to older sailors. There’s not much excitement for younger sailors.
I have a dream to some day go on a cruise. One thing stopping me right now Being mid-30s and single just not sure what I would. other than drink the entire time. Oh and the money. I don’t think I’ll ever get to live out that dream
You could meet new people, that's the best part!
Dream big and don’t ever give up. Half of the joy of achieving a dream is the journey it takes to get there.
