Your comments about people identifying with you and looking to you for how introvert nation might react to any given cruise line are the whole reason I have booked a Royal C cruise for me and my introvert sister in April! I keep assuring her we will find the less-crowded areas, and in case not I got us a balcony room. But I appreciate how you guys keep it real, plus you are quirky and fun and entertaining! I will be compiling notes based on all of your tips and tricks before we go as well.
@@fhud2800 depending on the type of ship you’re on, my introverted husband and I love the promenade deck on the voyager class and the freedom class. There are chairs outside that are comfy to sit in and you can just sit and listen to the waves. It’s very quiet and we have never been overrun by people.
Your honesty is why we watch. Lucky for us, we are similar to you, and tend to stay low key and to ourselves. Different people cruise in different ways, there no right or wrong.
The bed converts into a couch thats what the big drawer at the side of the bed is needed for. Your cabin steward can turn your bed into a couch and back every day if you wish.Totally agree that the bathroom is too small.
100% agree with your comments from the dinner time question. I believe this is why I enjoy watching all your videos. Plus your sarcasm and quick-witted commentary.
My wife an I just went in June. We are also not partiers, and we loved it. So many places to just chill like the dockhouse. Also, for all the people saying they had trouble with the app. Virgin has always been a big Android supporter. It works perfect on Android phones so I am guessing you all use iPhones. I would assume it was designed for Android, and ported to iOS.
From memory I think they were going for a bed/couch combo. The steward would make into a bed at night and couch during the day. Hence the storage area “under the bed”, as can get to the storage during the day. But after feedback that just kept it as a bed, so it doesn’t really work as just a bed.
We enjoy your videos so much! We went on our first cruise last week (Utopia) and your videos helped tremendously. We were prepared with cool door magnets, a foldable laundry basket, and a foldable makeup bag. Thanks Yall!
You may be interested in reading some of the "history" of the line and ships. Especially based on some of your comments on the room in particular. The line is super new and they're kind of learning as they go. The couch thing was something that i believe they shifted on for example. The room can be configured during the day to be like a couch and a living area instead of a bed and they would change it at night for you. But they pivoted from that quickly i believe because it just didnt work out well. They're whole idea was to reinvent cruising, so they're very daring and very different in a lot of ways. Some stuff hit it out of the park and some stuff didnt but they absolutely tried, and i love them for it. Can't wait to see what they'll be like in another 10 years or so. The pool being so small, no movie screen on the pool deck and the somewhat strange theater layouts/shows were my main areas of improvement for their next class of ships. Other than those very minor things, i loved literally everything about virgin
My husband and I also went on the same ship during thanksgiving and really enjoyed it as fellow introverts lol! Had the same thoughts about food and the room and loved that a lot of the stuff is included in this cruise line. Also cool how much attention to detail you have when giving comments on the ship, made me happy that one of the foods made it to hall of fame! Hope yall had a great time overall!
So excited to see a new video today - and a new cruise line review! Key West is a bucket list port for me - can’t wait to see if you are doing another pie challenge! Dinnertime question: being such avid cruisers what is A MUST DO every single cruise? I know balcony sitting is a must for you guys but anything else?
I manifested this!!! haha. My mom was watching your videos last night (she's never seen them before). I said 'I really wish they would go on Virgin Voyages and make a video' and woke up this morning and saw this!! I agree about Lindsay Lohan and her comeback and I'm HERE for it. I cannot wait for Freakier Friday!!!
I’m honored that my comment was read at dinner and of course it happened the first time my wife has ever seen one of your videos. I’m excited for this series
I appreciate your perspective, and the fact you’re sharing your vacations with us. Also since I only do Royal it’s even better seeing you guys experience different cruise lines.
I absolutely adore that ship. I was never for Virgin until I was given a free cruise. It is the only ship I have ever decided to sail on twice in a row
Dinner time question: if you could design your perfect cruise line from all of the ones you’ve experienced, what would you piece together? (I.e disneys entertainment, carnival rooms, virgins food etc)
Live in FL like you guys. You are incredibly fun (& informative) ((specifically mattress test)). Just watched your Icon vid, again, fun to compare your levels
Clocked into work 2 hours ago and I was finally ready to get down to work. Not anymore! I hope you went to the cat dance party show... thing. But I doubt it lol.
I’ve always been curious about Virgin. Can’t wait to see the rest of your cruise! Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and have a very Happy New Year!
The muster video can be watched on the tv in your stateroom and the staterooms are accessible the moment you board which is why the boarding times are so late. Great video though!
I really love that I can go to your channel and hit play all! Your channel is so relaxing and I can watch them over and over, lol. We're going on the Discovery Princess soon. We've been on Royal many years ago. Love that you try different lines and take us along. Would you ever try Princess? Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing!! Going on my first VV cruise in April 2025. We booked the XL sea terrace cabin just for the bigger bathroom. We are excited to try all the food! Pasta is my weakness too. Can eat it every day. Love y’all honest opinion on everything. Happy cursing!!
It’s gonna be interesting how virgin does Alaska cruises next year with the lack of storage in their room, considering you have to pack so much for a Alaska cruise
We love your videos and the fact that you are now comparing different cruise lines. Our tastes in what we like about cruising are similar to yours even though we are in our 70's. We have gone on @ 40 cruises and are Diamond + on RCL Best wishes to you in your future years together as man and wife!
Traditionally, focaccia is made with flour, yeast, salt, water and olive oil, making it vegan. Some alternative recipes call for eggs but definitely not needed. I never use eggs when making it.
Haven't finished the video yet. But fellow introvert and non "partier", I love Virgin Voyages. Been on two, have a third booked. It's such a chill cruise if you want it to be. Excited to watch these!
Dinner time question. We saw your comments about the virgin cruise app so we wanted to know what would you include in the perfect cruise line app and what would you name it? 🚢⚓️💻⌨️🧑💻❤️
Love the content I went back on some older videos to show him how beautiful Norway is too. You and I are convincing my husband to take me on a cruise 😆.
You both are so relatable to both my husband and I and I felt like the feedback you had about Carnival would have been similar to ours, so I appreciated your honest feedback. It’s ok that Carnival isn’t right for you. And it’s ok that it’s the best cruise line for others. That’s why different types of ships and lines exist. It’s not a one size fits all. Love your videos and can’t wait to see if you what you love and hate about Virgin.
I heard you guys were in Jersey recently. What part? I would have liked to buy you an espresso Frap! Dinnertime Question (suggestion)You should end your videos with a "coming soon" segment so we know when the next one is coming out so we aren't just waiting and waiting. Really enjoy all your videos.
I was on the Brilliant Lady with my husband and our parents in May! We had a fabulous time. The food is the best we've had on any cruise line we've tried!
After going through the whole cruise and looking back on the experience having a better understanding of what the Virgin cruise model is, are there initial first exposure comments made during the video that you either have changed your thoughts on or you would not have put such an emphasis on in terms of importance/impact?
I am an introvert, I feel like when I am on vacation with family and friends I feel more like an extrovert, because I am with familiar people. The weird thing next to the bed. Originally you could have during the day an L-shaped couch. And then at night they moved the one piece over to make a queen size bed. It didn’t go over well, so I guess they took the couch part out.
You both are great and awesome love your videos and amazing videos,I have a question how you both go on tons of cruises?I been on icon of the seas and utopia of the seas I love icon the sea the best ,wished you both go on carnival magic my favorite, you are the best greatest you tube videos
Love all your vlogs. We will be sailing Virgin for the first time soon. So I’m confused how dining works? You mentioned only can book dining thru the app. Is that the day of or anytime? Is there a charge for other dining venues? Now I’m nervous on how all this works.

When you board, you can also make/change reservations at that time -- as Virgin opens up the rest of the availability then. You can do this either through the app again or by going to Razzle Dazzle where agents are there to help. Our first time, we stood in line in Razzle Dazzle, but then I figured out I could do it through the app so I made our reservations in the app and we were able to hop out of the line. The key is just to do it as soon as you get on the ship to grab optimal dining times. Now we go straight to our cabin, drop our carryons, turn on the muster video on the TV and make our reservation changes in the app at the same time. All dining venues are included in your fare -- no extra charge. There are a few specialty items in each venue that are a slight upcharge, but 99% of the menus are included in your fare (steaks, etc). Virgin doesn't nickel and dime you once you're onboard.
@@girlrits00 thank you so much for all the info. I usually only sail Royal. So first time venturing out on a new cruise line. How does booking excursions work? Is that 45 days before the cruise too?
Honestly I wish you guys had been doing reviews when my husband and I started cruising! We are introverted, but now we have a kid so Virgin is out of the picture for us at this moment. But I'm so interested to see what you guys think about it. We like Carnival but honestly we prefer Princess so far.
We’re super behind on editing videos right now. We wanted to post our Thanksgiving cruise first since it’s more timely, but the videos from the Celebrity Beyond are still going to be posted eventually!
Virgin Voyages app is notoriously bad😂. Interesting to hear your take as an app developer. My favorite restaurants are Pink Agave, the Wake and Extra Virgin. Not sure if you all would enjoy Gunbae as introverts. Not sure if you all attended the sail away or PJ party since that may not be your speed but they’re fun also. 🎉
Hey Brian! I know this is kind of unrelated to the channel, but how did you get your start in software engineering? And is there any advice you'd give to someone who's just starting on that journey? I'm enrolled right now in an associates degree program. Between code camp, a full comp-sci degree, and this, I figured it was the most cost effective option and I hear that most tech companies don't care about credentials as much as knowledge. I've been looking forward to this review. We are also introverted non-partyers who like HAL. Thinking about Virgin. Did you order through the website or a travel agent? Seems like with Virgin, most people were recommending FB groups and agents. I think they do a status match as well. Did you do that?
I've been watching your videos for some time. I had a random thought. Wouldn't a great "put it in the app" idea be to add favorites. For example you could personalize your experiences with marking a favorite food item. There have been a few of your videos where I've seen you guys rank meals while trying to remember what you've had. Might be great for a company like Disney to know their guests favorite items when they come back. For those who can make repeat trips to get that extra level of personalized experience. Or for those who can only sail once every few years they don't have to go... "oh what was that meal I really loved last time?
LOL this is the BEST UA-cam video title I have ever seen!! From one lame introvert to another, congrats!
"Introverts' that have a UA-cam channel with 40 thousand subscribers? Yeah...no.
“Introverts” that go on crowded cruise ships… sober. As a true introvert, I could never.
Let's be nice everyone!
The corkscrew “Looks like a sailboat”. Sextants all across the world have been disrespected. 😂😂😂😂
This popped up on my UA-cam feed and I am so glad I watched! I love the corny jokes! I was laughing out loud!

love the childfree energy!!
If your order any item from ship eats that has a fee, the 10 bucks is waived. That includes if you order an item that costs less than 10 bucks.
Sadly they very recently changed this policy. The paid for item now has to cost 10 dollars or more for the delivery fee to be waived :

You two are forming great memories together. Love you both

haha 😆 we actually didn’t see any cat events listed in the cruise compass
@ I had to google it and the actual name of it is the “untitled dance show party thing” but the emcee is a cat. Via video unfortunately.

We’re super behind on editing videos right now. We wanted to post our Thanksgiving cruise first since it’s more timely, but the videos from the Celebrity Beyond are still going to be posted eventually!

It reminds me of the carnival Mardi Gras bathrooms
You should try Princess cruises next!!

This title is the best! 😂😂
I would also eat pasta for breakfast lunch and dinner, I see you girlie
Start saying bye to us so I don’t endure watching more commercials 😂😂
The spoons are made of bamboo, sustainable.
fun!!!! ❤ on the bucket list!

It ain't RCL and Celebrity baby!
