I think this is one of the best, organic tricks a regular salesman can use. I've seen a lot of tricks that are great for magicians trying to hand out their own business cards, but I don't see many for the regular sales guy that doesn't take up time and veer off-topic.
I've recently started working as a sales rep (business is completely unrelated to magic fyi) and have been looking around for a trick to present my business cards without going into an obvious routine. The people I try to make business deals with don't have time to wait around and watch a trick. If they did, I'd perform other stuff I already know. I just need something that makes me stick in their minds a bit more. A business card bursting into flames should 'burn' me into their memory, especially with an off-the-cuff situation.
I anticipate no need to even show the wallet if the card is performed on the fly in this manner because we as salespeople wouldn't be setting up for a magic trick story. We're just trying to hand out cards and - oops, its firey.
Thanks for the insights regarding issues with needing to soak and having the cards dry. That's going to require some thinking of when to soak or not and save on business cards.

The wallet catching fire is what worries me. I bought a fire wallet my last trip to Vegas. It works great. I'll just stick with my "cheap" wallet. Thanks for the honest review and saving me money!

Same thing happened to me. The main issue is the sleeve. If you haven't mastered putting the wicked cards into the sleeve, you may get some drip on the wallet OR (horrors) your hands. The typical anxiety, after testing even, is whether the cards will be too dry to ignite OR to saturated for safety (or embarrassment). Onky use this gimmick outside on a windless night with objects with which you've mastered the alchemy of burn-to-blaze ratio.
Caveat: only use this outdoors on a windless day/night.

I'd only want to use this when somebody asks for a business card but I guess that could be difficult as the cards could be soaking in the lighter fluid for way too long.
I don't chuck out business cards willy nilly because as you rightly say they are simply left behind or thrown away. With that in mind I will probably give this a miss.
I saw someone use this. I only give out my business card when asked. I do not hand it out to everyone I perform Magic for. It seems a little desperate. However, it does get attention. But for me, some may not like having fire shoved in their faces or the bad lighter smell. So for me, I think I will pass.

why not buy some play money that can look authentic from a glance and would be way cheaper than burning actual currency?

I'm not sure if I missed it but I didn't see or hear you mention a "Negatives" section of the video (like before or after the "Positives" section). So I take it that the criticisms during throughout the video count as the "negatives" (I didn't hear many)

Thank you for the review. I was trying to decide if I should by this or not. It's true that I have always wanted to produce such an effect from a fire wallet. Another Note: Just to be fair, The Pyro Wallet does have "stuff" in it - it has all the stuff that's needed to light the card/bill. I think what you mean to say is, "it doesn't have any personal items in it"

Another trick a rehash of a rehash it's not been a very good year for new magic. Maybe you could list of the best of 2018! . For me my favourite new magic has been the development of magic apps that is becoming and growing lnto exiting area ,llke book test effect,any card {acaan} and the wikie effect and my favorite Digital force bag....From the UK have a nice Xmas my friend.

I agree, a very poor year for decent Magic effects and they have been in decline for some time now, at least this Pyro wallet isn't another card effect though!!
How does it compare to Burning Connection 2.0 by Andy Amyx? Same thing?

Interesting idea, but I think a standard fire-wallet looks, works, and plays better. I'm still sure this will sell like hot cakes (wallets) though.

I think the point he is making is that even if you get an adult to buy you the wallet through the mail if you are under age, you will need an adult to get you the fluid too.

You looked so funny in the demos, first this yeah I got it surprise then the holy moly surprise, made you seem a lot more personable than your magic cafe avatar, I almost couldn’t believe that was you.
So even with the fails you still think it’s worth the 70? I was almost on board with this against all that I ve come to know about ellusionist, but this review made me think I should save my my twenty bucks and just buy a new fire wallet if Wilbur’s claims of works every time over two hundred performances are just more claims instead of truth. No point that I see cause yeah cards are trash can fodder....mostly and who wants to keep a chemically stank card on them. Thanks for the review it helped me see past the hype

magicorthodoxy there are no maybes in a hundred percent, 100% means without flaws or variables it’s a tough claim to make well to live up to at the very least

ThaBeastdotcom I have had nothing but trouble with this company and vowed never to buy another product but this looked hot and I almost fell for the hype. I asked because my pyro mini was broke out of the box but their return it in thirty days(60 maybe?) guarantee no questions asked quickly became where did you buy it? Deal with them. Their stuff is hundred dollar turds in my opinion
