Been an admirer since the early 2010s seeing ZSJ on some UK indie shows. I remember searching after and watching him and Taiji Ishimori in Noah have a great match and have seen so many great matches since. In recent years I've gone off his psychology but I am hoping now that ZSJs elevates to another level. Sure, I enjoyed watching him after matches with him panting on the floor backstage and quotes such as teaching american's technical wrestling is like reading shakespeare to a dog but that attitude and scraping through approach needs to be left behind. I hope this interview was an elevation for his character and I hope he carries himself in such a manner in the ring. He has bulked in recent times, I hope he continues to while not wasting any motion in the ring, no turning his back on challengers and really makes his moves and moments memorable and impactful.

if ZSJ ever developes a personality he will be really interesting.
ZSJ may not have the biggest personality, but he’s gone out of his way to establish that he is authentic. From the veganism to the socialist leanings to the George Michael apparitions, he’s carved out a personality that is all his own. It may not be your cup of tea or worthy of the main event to some, but I will argue he has developed his own authentic personality.
