#2021AscentTouring #Review
We just bought our 2021 touring and it has a lot of room. I love the iSight and panaramic moonroof.
We just bought one March 2, love it so much! Beautiful vehicle!
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching, Monica!
Thank God, no auto start-stop system!
Not yet...😆
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville Hopefully, not ever
I’m guessing it’ll happen eventually just based on the trends. 🙃
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville If that's the case I hope there is a switch to turn it off. I have a 19 limited right now and intend to upgrade with the next major update maybe around 22 or 23. Never been a fan of the start-stop system.
That is one of the main reasons I even looked at the Ascent, and bought it yesterday. In addition to all of the other great features, it was literally the only car I could find out of any manufacturer that does not have the auto-stop start.
Would have been beneficial to see the entire cargo space with all the seats properly folded down. It's something a lot of people are interested in, yet barely any vehicle reviewers on UA-cam do it.
I will keep that in mind for the next one! Thanks!
The seatbelt chime is extremely annoying. I really like having the Ascent slow down on the freeway when there is a car in front of me when using Cruise.
These are very powerful. I can spin all 4 wheels with a Cobb access port
Comfortable and handles great.
Great video as always! Love the Ventilated Front Seats!
Thanks so much!
Wish you get that exhaust setup on an outback xt.
The auto start/stop could cause oil coking in the turbo
Can the 3rd bench seat come all the way out?
How does the ascent compare to the outback for size? Is it just a higher proper suv than the outback? I’m really liking the outback but it looks so long. Parking would be a challenge even with the sensors up the wazoo.
The Ascent is about 6” longer, 2” wider and 6” taller than the Outback. It really depends on the where you live. If you like in a more urban area and need to parallel park often then it may be challenging. I’ve driven the Outback a lot and never thought of it being difficult to park
Bought a Ascent in January 2019. The length and the width take a little bit of getting used to at first. There are no front parking sensors, just the eyesight cameras. So if the cameras don’t see an obstruction right in front of you and apply the brakes, it can be a bit tricky to tuck the long nose into tight places. I would love to see Subaru take this model up a notch upmarket. An appearance package or sports package. Maybe even a hood scoop like the WRK or old Turbo Foresters or days gone by.
When will you be getting the 2nd video out on the 2021 subaru ascent touring.
Which video are you waiting to see, Michele?
I am eager to get subaru ascent, but I am concerned with their battery issues
I definitely understand that concern. Subaru is replacing batteries free of charge.
I would have liked if you showed the window sticker.
We talked through everything on it!
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville I know you did. You made a good video. I just always like to see the window sticker.
No wireless charger??
Yes they do
Yes, it has an optional Qi Wireless charging pad
Nic vid!
Thank you!
Buyer beware Subaru lays traps to void your warranty. They make you replace all 4 tires if you have a total loss of 1 tire! They blame the running gear supplier. Don’t fault us they say.
My 2021 ascent has auto start stop
