  • Passive House Design is a well-known technique that aims to create buildings that are comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient, without relying on mechanical systems. However, this design technique is often associated with cold and temperate climates, and its application in hot and arid regions is less well-known.
In this video, we will explore how to apply Passive House Design principles to hot and arid climates, with a particular focus on reducing cooling loads and enhancing natural ventilation. We will also show you examples of buildings that have been designed and built using these techniques in hot and arid regions.

Hot and dry climate is not so much of a problem you could have an evaporative cooler take care of it unlike in hot and humid climate where you really need to have an AC

I love on the edge of hell. When I open the windows to air out the house, brimstone and sulfur just replace brimstone and sulfur. Basically. Hot air is replaced by hotter air.

my house is open planned, facing north🙂, facing the street. It's so hot and bright. Luckily I planted a tree in front of my house. Otherwise it will miserable. The temperature outside and under shade/ house is so much different.
