6:20 they actually do that in real life. they mix gas that smells like rotten eggs with the dangerous gasses. so if you ever smell rotten eggs in your house get out immediately. unless someone is cooking eggs, obviously.
8:50 The Fire Nation is learning that whoever has the higher ground (air) has the advantage 🤔 12:18 Sokka inadvertently gave them a gift - remember that when they finally use it 😈
Discovering in what state the Northen Air Temple is was such a shock to Aang, almost as big as going back to his temple earlier this season. Teo's dad developing weapons for the Fire Nation made for a juicy little dramatic moment and it allowed us to see them deal with the invading Fire Nation army. Sokka embracing his "inner scientist" together with Teo's dad was so satisfying to see. We need more moments like this. Thank you for the excellent reaction, commentary and discussion ❤
I foresee a lot of tears at the end of this book. Although the next episode will probably be funny. Especially if the girls are feminists. This would not have been done in 2024. It's too delicate.
@НикитаТрусов-ю4с Yep they completely took out 5he sexism in the live action. And had Katara give some stupid speech saying "you need more soldiers you know where to find them" and then pointed at a crowd of women 😂
The fire nation is the most technologically advanced in this world. And this affects their military successes. The water tribe still sails. The earth kingdom does not have tanks (even in the project). So, it doesn't hurt to admit it, but war is the engine of progress. And yes, does anyone doubt that they will be able to use a trophy balloon in the future? I'm not.
Probably my least favorite episode. I don't care for how easily the blatant destruction of an archeological site in the name of "progress" is forgiven. Being a refugee doesn't give you license to destroy irreplaceable cultural artefacts. Seems like a weird lesson to teach kids.
Well, it's not like the Air Nomads(minus Aang) are going to mind, since they're all gone anyway. Unless you prefer them not to have a home at all, that temple was their salvation.
I think that the point of the episode is for Aang to learn that not everything stays still throughout time, and the refugees to learn to live in balance with their place
@@dwnkaomwn3953 "Let's build low income housing on top of the temple of Karnak, it's not like the ancient Egyptians will mind." Also, the temple wasn't their salvation, the Fire Nation just showed up again after they moved in. Collaborating with the enemy was their salvation. They could have built another village anywhere and done that.

I agree. It's really weird how Aang just randomly changes his mind from being really angry about how the place is being treated to just being ok with it for no reason.
I can't/won't blame Teo's father for the decision he made to protect his people. The Fire Nation would've destroyed that temple and everyone in it if Teo's father didn't submit to them.
Happy Birthday Laura 🫶🏼 💕🥳 🎂
Laura, baby, happy birthday dear, a big hug for you ♥️🥳🎉🎁

I'd still get out if the cooking smells like rotten eggs, that's poison at that point.

Aang: "I can do more than fancy gliding"
*Proceeds to literally RUN in front of the disabled kid.
Quite savage for a pacifist
Great episode! Always feel bad for Aang 😢
