For the "Murmur of Insanity" book, you actually can farm it at 3-13 hard with 2.03% drop rate according to prydwen and in game they also show the book as "Rare"
While it's true, it just isn't a super reliable stage to farm. But at the same time, it's still a good stage to farm for other resources, with a low chance of getting the book as a bonus.
Just a quick correction. That book "murmur of insanity" is farmable on stage 3-13. It's only a 2% drop rate, but I wanted to let you know it doesn't NEED to be crafted.

I think a really important thing with guides like these is that they are just that, guidelines on what is generally the best thing to do. I'm not trying to invalidate any of the data collected here but it's more important to see what your account needs to progress, rather than mindlessly buying certain mats bc they're "better value".
@@evansinaga4723 that is absolutely true in a general sense. My point is that you shouldn't follow it blindly. For example I'm going to be ignoring the must buys for the first part of this event as I'd rather buy the bones and birds to get up my Charlie's and Eternity's resonate. Before I even do that I'm going to buy the wilderness islands because the sooner I get them, the faster my return on investment
@@evansinaga4723 Yes. In real life you buy what you need now... but here, it's a useful trick to go for what is rare, hard to get. Sooner or later you will need those badly. It's a victory you win over time, not now.
@@obe1_kenobiif you are still building up your units then go ahead. If you have reached plateau, you will need any items that shortened your future farming. For 80 points to buy apple, you save 3-5 days worth of farming in the furure. I wouldnt recommend unilog at the start, unless you have excess points then you buy the unilog. Personally, i use drops to progress a bit faster, a unilog for 1000 points or 1200 points (3-5 days AP)
@@obe1_kenobi thats assuming that they allow you to gain more tiles to be able to place them. I already have islands that I can't use as I have maxed all the tiles up to this point. I'm hoping they are buildings and not just more islands that you cant use.

We all going to buy out everything out of the shop. But I still like that people theorycraft, makes fun to do so and makes fun to watch :)

All I know is our 1.1 will be shorter than CN's, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually 14 days. I saved candies to clear the important items in event shop since it's more efficient to spend towards shop than farming outside anyway. If I finish early then I just spend my regenerated stamina where I would have spent it by using candies before the event started

huh? so you get 300 coins fixed on the 14th stage for 20 activity, and for 300 coins you get 18'000 dust, so how the hell is it negatively valued? what was your math?
Think he means the sharp/dust at the very bottom of the shop, the 10 coins for 10 sharp / 20 dust, which is abysmal vs just running the resource maps. Of course, those option are not meant to be bought en masse, they are just there to spend whatever remaining coins you have from the event after you've bought everything else (or at least anything else you wanted).
im confused, i thought we would be able to clear out the shop anyway throughout the duration. With the exception of the unli stuff which r obviously just extras, why is there a need to decide what are must buys?
You could. This video is probably for someone who absolutely don't want to hoard those materials when they don't need it urgently so they only take a valuable one out of all of those. Personally I will clear out everything because it's better than farming them in story stage anyway because of the drop chance.

can confirm I've gotten one from that stage once.

Wilderness materials can usually be purchased for clear drops OR the shells, so you could provide the shells a clear drop value from that

Its better to finish early, i just heard the event is shorter in GL compared to CN,. Just to be safe, grab things that you need and wants first

You can clear the shop. Depending on how active you will be then there are things you really don't want to miss
