Hi, I'm up in NE Texas. I just discovered you recently. I've been painting watercolor but have done a few acrylics. I'm retired 69. I'm going to try to do your April paintings. My son is an artist and teaches high school and college art. He sent me some new brushes and paint. Love your energy. Now to get my paints out and get started.

This was a great video! I’m new to your Acrylic April challenge this year. I’ve done a few of your videos in anticipation of #AcrylicApril2020. I appreciate the explanation of transitioning from lighter to darker tones in landscapes. That will help me as I really like to do landscapes. Also, the explanation of how to do the water, highlighting and shading, made for my best water results to date. One thing that would help me in future videos would be to mention when you rinse/clean your brush vs. when you want to just add the next color to the brush to blend on the canvas. Thanks and I plan to watch everyday and complete 30 paintings!

    Hi
theartsherpa !! This is my first Acrylic April!! I am making my own Pthalo blue and Naples Yellow - I teach ART at a library and with COVID they are closed so half my supplies are there. I am working from home with what I have. I figured Pthalo blue is maybe Prussian mixed with Cobalt or Cerulean and Naples is Yellow Ochre with Light Yellow? I am experimenting now. If you see this can you give a tip? Thanks, Cinnamon and everyone

I decided to paint this on 11x14 canvas. Not painting these in order. Doing them by what I figured would be easiest first. Never thought in a gajillion years this painting would take me four days to complete. So silly....guess it's partly because I've not painted in while but still...I'm always a little hard on myself and re-do almost every part I paint. trying to match your colors.....I need to learn to be nicer to myself. Hmmm, which one to do next.....bubbles???

    Hello everyone.....
First off, your bracelet is soo beautiful. Next and very important.... Thank you both for all the hrs and thought that goes into all these tutorials. I have to date watched almost all that you have on UA-cam but have only painted ,2. I would love to do more but I don't have access to the equipment needed to print off a traceable... I'm unable to get out without help due to spinal disc degeneration.... Is there any other way that you could teach one or two so that I could paint and enjoy knowing that I did something for my new great niece.... I've not been able to have cuddles yet because of lockdown ....
I'm so sorry to be such a nuisance, hope there is something that youmight be able to think of..... I think that painting will help with the depression I have due to chronic pain and being isolated all the time, not just because of corvid 19.
Sending much love n Bright Blessings to you, Jon and all your family and friends.
Stay safe Cinnamon.... Thank you xx
