- UPDATE: first case is a HORIZONTAL TEAR😖, not longitudinal (it was late at night...). Thanks to my Patron Roohi for letting me know!! (i will not replace the video, i cannot update it, i would have to upload a new version with new link etc.)
Learn 7 different pathologies of the posterior horn of the menisci in this weeks video. I show you meniscus degeneration (root degeneration), root avulsions, posterior horn tears (radial and parrot beak tears), meniscus ossicles, the ghost meniscus, the ramp lesion, the zip sign (or also know as wrisberg rip) and a pitfall at the end.

I feel case no.1 is horizontal tear rather than longitudinal tear!
You are right! It's horizontal. That's what o meant to say lol. I will try to correct it. Thx roohi
turns out i cannot just upload a new version, it would be a completely new video, i let it like this, everybody makes mistakes :) *shame* :D
@@DrChristophAgten it happens with all of us! 😀
@@luckyolwaz my most common slip of the tongue is trochanter instead of tubercle or humerus Vs femur.... It's strange 🤪
@@DrChristophAgten For me , cm becomes mm and vice versa .The worst mistake, left becomes right 🤦♀️ 🤣. I have a very long list of mistakes which I can't reveal also !😜
Thank you for these interesting cases!

Hi dr Agren! Have you ever seen anny normal meniscus ( non-discoid), without posterior root ( no history of trauma) and connected only by the Wrisberg ligament?
hi gustavo, I don't think so
Hello! Thank you so much for this video! Very informative because I recently got news of a meniscus tear. It says I have oblique posterior horn tear of the medial meniscus. How do I know if It’s in the red or white zone in terms of healing on its own without surgery?
hi,hows your knee now, i too got the same problem
What's up brother.. did that tear has healed on its own or you operated a surgery.. please replay because I have same problem..
Sir my knee mri seen postireo horn mideal meniscus gred 1tear pls sgest me .
Hello Dr.Agten,
What's the possibility for reading an MRI of both knees via e- mail regarding plica and meniscus issues?
Plus advise.
Thanks in advance.
Writ me an email. You find the address in the about section of my channel. Thanks
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks😀
Sorry, Dr Agten...
👍
Thanks
Does extrusion with 7mm tear mean permanent instability of the knee?
not necessary, depending on the kind of tear.

First comment! Great content
Congrats to another first comment 😉
