Husband and I donated to our local Animal shelter! As well as bought things off an Amazon wishlist for the tornado survivors in Kentucky who lost everything ( including Xmas presents) so we did a double random act of kindness today! Thank you for inspiring us to giving more in life! We are all so lucky for what we have; I’m glad you remind us what’s important in life!

the coldest camping trip for me was back in the 80s my father took me out on my first deer hunting trip at night it was mid 20s I remember this very well I lost my father 3 weeks later to cancer 3 days after thanksgiving . it was cold but my best memories .

I was on Temporary Duty when I was in the air Force in the 70's, and was assigned to work on a construction project outside of Eielson AFB. It was a steady 60 degrees below zero. On a warm day it would be about 30 degrees below zero. We were cautioned to limit our time outside to avoid frostbite.

Wow!! That looks like so much fun! I grew up going camping with my family that till this day I’m 34 years old and now I going camping with my husband and our two boys. Keeping the tradition going. I want to say about 4 years ago we went camping thanksgiving weekend here in Santa Barbara California and the temperature at night would drop to 45-50 degrees and one of the nights it even rained. Happy Holidays!!
This yr was the first time my fiance and were able to get some gifts to people, Though I made alot of them...We loved doing it esp when my fiance is still on dialysis and is at stage 5 end stage.We are praying for him to get a new kidney by spring..We have been posting on Facebook about donating blood to see if someone could be a match. And of course he has to becareful because of covid we both had our vaccines and boosters. Anyways love you guys soooo much keep doing what you are doing..

You can seal up the edges of the tent with the snow. The coldest without a Tent was between 10 and 20 degrees, every thing was wet because it had been rain and ice all day and our gear was wet. The only shelter we had was an outdoor, open air, covered day shelter. We slept on picnic tables and benches.
Almost 2.45 am but totally worth it to stay up to watch my favorite family. I haven't slept in a tent in many years. Don't feel the urge to do so. But you made it look fun to try again. I'll think about it. Hugs from Norway.
