    Get one of those forehead go pros, that way you don't have to cue around the camera. Either that or make some kind of overhead rig that the camera can hang from and be moved around, it would be a kind of DIY project with 2 axis' that the camera would move along, I dunno if you're into that kind of stuff, but would be neat.
    And great video, I can't wait to practice these.

    Great job!!! Any more hints on playing inside spin on shots? Any time I try to use inside spin, my mind hates the idea causing massive amounts of muscle tension in my shoulders, which causes me to push the cue off line. Very annoying! Funny that outside spin does not cause this problem of mine to happen.

    Sometimes i use side on a straight blue shot to the middle pocket to create an angle which normally doesnt exist, BUT it is a VERY risky shot and each balls set plays different( even i feel difference between 3g and 1g aramiths).It really helps me when i am out of position. Side allows u to play thinner or thicker on the object ball, but increases ur chance to miss a pot.

    I'm more interested in learning which way the object ball is pushed when you use side. So say I'm using left hand side does the object ball get pushed to the left or right on contact with the white ? So which way do I compensate my aim ?

    • @Breakfromlife

      That I wouldn’t worry about too much. It will go the opposite way to the side on it but only by a tiny amount

      "you will put a pin on the map for me"
      Just to be clear if I play left hand side on the white it would push the white to the right to begin with then the spin will pull it back on line (over a long enough distance per say) the object ball will push to the right as well like the white ball ? By say about the width of the object ball or would it be less than that ? I ask because that's the bit that always gets me how much do I need to correct by.

    Just out of interest, what is the maximum amount of 'throw' angle you can get on the object ball? Can you miss the spotted blue into a centre pocket on a straight shot for example even when hitting the blue dead centre?

    • @Breakfromlife
      @Breakfromlife  6 років тому

      Probably just about with maximum spin. I often find it surprising how little it effects a shot sometimes

    • @FIVE-0-APOCALYPTO
      @FIVE-0-APOCALYPTO 6 років тому

      And do you know why it does or doesnt sometimes?
      You are left eye dominant. Its part of the reason why the "sometimes".
      The question is which times.
      This video is no different than anything else thats been regurgitated a million times, yet not once have i heard anything truly intelligent or informative. Some damn value.
      Its the 3rd element of the 3 dimensional reality of tip delivery to the cue ball.
      Sir, you need to work on the right side of the cue ball. Stop pivoting and find it parallel for starters and demonstrate sqwirt to the left and thicken up a thin alighnment with 3 0'clock right spin, as close to miscue limit as possible.
      Do it on a straight in with 6' of distance between ob and cb and dont you dare put the ob less than 2' from the pocket.
      Get distance from everything, nothing comfortable or easy like those hangers you shoot. Thats why you say "sometimes" because you dont know what the hell yur doing or talking about.
      If you did, your spin video would be completely different.
      I dont know who the hell has the right video. Everything ive seen is no different than yours.
      How much money you make off this? Pay me and ill tell you what your missing.

    Hi great video, but I'm a tad confused, in other videos you say for example putting right hand side on will make the object ball go left ( the opposite of whatever side you use:- Right on cueball = Object ball goes left, left on cueball = object ball goes right ) , however at 2:23 min you put right hand side on the cueball but the black goes right?
    Also at 2:12 min you appear to be using right hand side but the text says left spin deflecting right are you saying this from the viewers perspective?
    Really appreciate the time and effort you take to help us beginners out, side and what happens to the object ball absolutely baffles me especially when I ask anyone they always seem to have a different answer. thank you

    • @FIVE-0-APOCALYPTO
      @FIVE-0-APOCALYPTO 6 років тому

      Because he is not distinguishing or citing example of the difference between spins that throw an object ball or simply lubricate the contact point between cb and ob contact collision.
      There is another few things as well but i would like to see your expert explain it, since he probably gets paid for it.
      The second shot on the black is a complete farce if he is talking about or demonstrating true right spin.
      That shot is redirected back toward center, with a right bias trajectory.
      He blasted the shot because he has no idea how to maintain his trajectory and certainly doesnt have a visual point of reference to "aim" at.
      Sorry, but ive put years and twisted my mind to develope the ability to do these things left or right on natural and unnatural side angles of shot relationships.
      These type of videos are rampant and its disturbing and infuriating because most people are still universally confused about really basic things like this video, that are made out to be either daunting, vague, or duhhhh matter of relative fact that is still ambiguous, when considering angular delivery of the cue stick.
      Perception turned into reality and that is dangerous.

      And thats why youll always have a problem of not knowing because physics is inescapable and what you deem as science, is simply a explanation, with data, to prove the reality.
      In pool, when introducing the human element to the equation, you never get pure science, you will get general terms and information because it "always depends".
      It is certainly arguable, that on the second black shot, supposedly successfully struck with right rotational spin of center axis of cueball for instance = horizontal right of center, was actually even struck right of center, relative to the shot line leading to the contact point of ob that connects to the pocket.
      The way the cb deflected off ob, looks to me, like a semi stunned tangent line of cb/ob collision. Its a left cut angle, therefore the cb goes right after ob collision and invariably or arguably or typically, the ob will spin counter clock wise, because its basically gearing off of the the ob. It wont have much rotational spin, but enough to give a impression that you struck right of center cb with the tip of your cue.
      Its obvious for starters, that the "expert" or shooter in the video, is left eye dominant.
      Hey video maker expert sir, do that same shot, come in visually like you obviously do and set up like you comfortably do, except now as a final last thing, slide your bridge hand forward and as you do that, with a closed bridge, you will feel the shaft of your cue, start to angle or veer off more and more to the right as you slide the bridge hand forward. Stop when it appears you are veering past what appears to be a miscue is going to occur. Do not, i repeat, do not take a practice stroke or perhaps maybe just one, but do not try to tweek the adjustments. Just let the new set up do its thing which should also feel as if the shaft raised higher as you slid the bridge hand forward as well. Your tweaking toward what you think is ideal is going to fk this shot up because you dont have developed awareness of horizontal right, amongst other things as a default result.
      Its never just one thing in pool. If "this" is happening, its always because of a few things and the logical fix, usually is correct, but opens up another door that you wont be accounting for because it takes understanding through trial and error and ACCURATE DATA on make or miss results.
      Any way, if i made videos, i would be assassinated by predator cues and diamond table manufactures.
      Make a video about what i said to do on the first try and i bet within 3 tries, if not the first try, your result will be congruent with what is a correct result of a right spin shot that you are demonstrating on those blacks.
      True right spin in those two shots, the cb after hitting the rail, should go up table to the end rail, clearly left of a corner pocket scratch foul.
      Do it dude.

      I noticed that too, I was like wtf is he saying.Look bro,logically if Right hand side is deflecting the cue ball to the left,then the object ball deflects to the right as u overcut it.And same goes for left hand side.Idk what this guy was saying but he was wrong there.U can try it too,right hand side on a ball to cut will overcut it always,and then u need to aim a little to the left of the pocket,so the spin makes it go to the pocket.U should use logic i hope i helped u

    Just one question: at about 4 min you start talking about adding left spin to force the object ball to the right. How would you aim in that situation, compared to the first 4 minutes of the video when you hadn’t talked about this effect?
    I assume that aiming more left for left spin and vice versa, you’re already compensating for this effect?
    Thanks!
