I got some yesterday at the dollar store. It says on the box that a bowl of the Dunkin' cereal has as much caffeine as 1/10 of a cup of coffee. Though it does smell like a bag of fresh roasted coffee beans when you open it.

I'm a be honest. I've lived here (in the States) for the entirety of my 44 years, and on all the frosted fruit loops in the land, I've never seen these boxes of cereal for sale anywhere.

As an American viewer, I had no idea that they made Dunkin' Donuts coffee cereal or the mashup cereal. I wouldn't buy or eat them, but still.
Same here what the hell are those. I did mix frosted flakes and Corn Pops as a child which actually works.
Not alone
We bought the Dunkin' Donuts cereals and they tasted like garbage. We have four people in our house and no one would eat from either box. They tasted so artificial and weirdly bitter beyond the sweetness. Like, you expect American cereals to taste artificial to a degree but they tasted like straight up chemicals.
We tried those. Not the worst thing in the world. Eh.. Still haven't had the guts to try sour patch cereal. Something just not right about that cereal.
I've tried to caramel macchiato cereal and it was so sickeningly sweet. Both of my parents worked at Kellogg's for literally their whole lives and the mashup cereal is blasphemy! 😭
Yay! Great group of TRYers. Americans might have more cereal options than anyone. I think it takes up at least both sides of one aisle and possibly more at some of the larger supermarkets. TRY them all! ~Be Blessed
One of my favorite things to do is to take someone from another country on their 1st trip to a supermarket, and go down the cereal aisle

I've tried the Dunkins cereal, but, I'm in New England, where Dunkins is local and _everywhere._ It's actually pretty good, though I'd like something less sweetened.

@@Travisjoe31 I am incredibly lucky to qualify for medicaid. I have horrible frequent migraines and severe MDD. I am on 8 medications just to try to stay level and functional every day. Just one of my meds is $1000 for 10 pills.

Maybe you all should have a session where you eat American Adult cereals instead of Kids Cereals. Every last one you tried were kids cereals. And for the mash up you should try Frosted Flakes and Cap'n Crunch.

I remember several years ago when people realized that all flavors of Fruit Loops were the same flavors. I figured that out in the mid nineties. I haven't had Fruit Loops in a long time.
My tastebuds have always disagreed, I taste the flavors.
I'm learning so much. I still haven't realized all flavors of Froot Loops are the same. Guess I have some homework this weekend. lol

As an American, I'm not a fan of the sugery cereals. Give me what I grew up with, some Rice Krispies, Cheerios, corn flakes, Wheaties, and for a real treat some Raisin Bran.

Ciara, I started drinking coffee at 12 (I'm 57 now), mainly because it could do what the Ritalin couldn't, calm me down.
Dunkin had shops in Ireland mostly in Dublin in the 90s and left almost as fast they arrived.
Dunkin tried to get into our Canadian coffee chain market. Tim Horton's, Starbucks and McDonald's all showed them the door.

I went shopping and saw a Cosmic Brownies cereal yesterday. There are endless cereals to try!
Fruity pebbles with frosted flakes is amazing! So are fruit loops with kix
Rice Krispy Treats were mentioned. Use any of the cereals with marshmallows instead of Rice Krispy, cover with chocolate or Nutella, and you have just about the minimum level of sugar for a true American breakfast. Add your coffee or favorite cola to drink, and you can get through until you get donuts at the office.
The bestest cereal mash up is: Cap'n Crunch's Peanut Butter Crunch + Oops All Berries!
I would love to see you all try fruit-stuffed shredded mini-wheats ... So much better. We munch it like snacks here at home, no milk, just treat it like popcorn.
During the Great Depression, it was common to put coffee on cereal instead of milk, as milk was (is) expensive and doesn't really keep, whereas coffee you can buy in bulk and store for a long period of time.... I'm not old, btw, I just used to hang out with old people a lot.
I had no idea about the sugar tax but it definitely explains their reactions to anything with sugar.

The Fruit Loops bird's name is Toucan Sam. I have found ,being lactose intolerant, that cold black coffee in breakfast cereal is tasty. Hot coffee turns the cereal to mush too quickly.
I haven't seen them try the original Captain crunch yet. That stuff rocks! Sugar smacks, Coco Puffs, and Honey-Nut Cheerios are good too. I mean WITH sugar, Grape nuts(and of course, Grape Nuts Flakes) are fantastic!
They must dig up the weirdest cereal that was never sold in America and ship it to the Try Channel. LOL

OK....so when did you guys notice that you'd switched Eadaoin and Ciara's names around in the vid we saw on Patreon?
i have adhd and caffeine helps people with adhd. i had diet coke at 5yo, coffee at 8yo, redbull at 9yo, and caffeine pills at 17yo. It was hilarious when my mom saw new studies for kids who drink energy drinks when i was 12yo and tried to rescind my right to drink them until 16yo.
Finally got on correct adhd meds at 21yo because had too many trips to the hospital for blood pressure and heart palpitations, and was drinking 4x the recommended amount per day
in having autism ( aspbergers ) I have to have at least 2 cups before I deal with anyone within a mile of my facial area , I got diagnosed at the age of 11 as adhd , but then after what is known as IEP ( individualized education plan where teachers come into a room and try ( emphasize try ) to get a proper education plan for me
Cinnamon Toast Crunch has always been the best cereal in my eyes, with Honey Bunches of Oats being a close second.
CTC is great with milk, great on its own as a dry snack, and great as an ice cream topping.
That poor girl, never got the memo that she had full control of how sweet and creamy coffee ends up🤣
