Taco Bell Snacks and Taco Bell Sauces! When we had our trip to America earlier this year back in the Before Times, we did a video trying Taco Bell and we forgot to get the sauces for our tacos. After several thousand comments that we didn't have the sauces, a lovely fan named Jason Minton sent us a selection of Taco Bell snacks and sauces for us to finally try and see what all the fuss is about!

When Irish people make fun of how mild the hot sauce is you know they're talking about taco bell hot sauce.
To be fair-the panelists that have been here a while have a lifetime of experiences under their belt.I can remember all the way back when Facts started it all the panelists were crying real tears over anything spicier than a potato but now they're worlds more sophisticated .I did notice the one panelist who teared up was new . Welcome aboard.And of course Ciara begins and ends the unconquerable Warrior Princess so no seasoning needed (see that little joke there?)

I would like to see you all actually try Taco Bell food items with the various sauces that are available, (at least here), for free. The sauces add a whole new level of flavor to the various items. Keep up the great videos!

I was hoping this was a video of you guys trying the food you already had the first time, with all the original people from that video, but with the sauces on the food. To see if it changes your first opinions about them.
The sauce isn't much spice wise, but it does makes some items a bit better.

I've actually seen two different versions of Demolition Man, in one Taco Bell was the restaurant and in another it was McDonald's.

YES! The sauce isn't something amazing, I don't ever think to use it on anything other than taco bell food even though I have dozens of packets. Taco bells sauce has to be designed for their food or something, it's the pair that's addictive!

I love that they're mad they aren't in pain. They're like "c'mon hurt meeeee". They've definitely ascended from all of the spicy challenges and are unaffected.
Taco bell is not warning wash you hands before touching you face spicy. Like the spice food challenges.
What? I wasn't saying anything about warnings at all. Just that this group has been hit with so many spicy things, their tolerance has gone up.
Honestly, I love the mild sauce for the flavor, not the heat. It has a nice balance with salty and vinegary and then just a touch of the pepper's flavor. When added to things like a bean burrito, it makes if moister and more pleasant.
I only eat their burritos from Taco Bell but for flavor I try to drench it in Fire sauce. I have never seen or been offered the Diablo sauce.

I was equally confused about that, especially since taco bell sells hard shell tacos made with Doritos.
My local grocery store in Milwaukee has had them for over a year now. Many chips like these and flavors or other major brands sell certain items in different regions for some reason - I'm sure based off what they think will sell.

No-one expects spice when going to Taco Bell, but the sauces are necessary for flavor. Taco Bell without sauce is on the bland side.
I've never used their sauces and until recently bc they took them off the menu..my go toos were the Mexican pizza n the 7 layer burrito..but I also love the cheesy roll ups dipped in sour cream..

Their sauces taste like they were made with the juice from pickled banana peppers. Not a fan. I always regret not bringing my own.

The sauces are just for flavor and not spice. None of them are that spicy.
Ciara asks "are we broken" at one point, and the fact that they're evaluating the sauces on the basis of "is this a test of our wills" instead of "would this be delicious on an omelette" does sound a bit like a trauma reaction.

Eat Alfredo and butter sauce pizza tries tomato sauce in other things. Does not see why poeple want it on the pizza when it is more thick like marinara sauce. Some pizza takes off the cheese pats crusts with napkins then puts cheese back on alot of times with my mom.

Your reaction to the spice level is 100% correct. My favorite sauce taco bell had was the green Verde sauce, which had no spice but great flavor. Sadly they got rid of it.
Two of those and a diablo on mexican pizza was my go to for a long time. That verde sauce was the bomb.
Then again, when I worked there in the drive-thru I would shoot packets of the diablo if it was a particularly cool evening to warm up. Kitchen was hot so couldn't really wear a coat, but would still get a nice blast of cold when the window was open, that sauce had just the right heat level to counter it, lol.
I still ask for it every time, just in case they ressurrect it, I don't even think the more recent employees even know what I'm talking about.
I think it was the episode when they tried actual fire 🔥 that ruined them for the sauces.
Seriously, those sauces are for the masses and somebody would probably sue them if they made them too hot. (I didn’t know Diablo meant HOT your honor!). They are good enough to dress up a late night taco though!

Fun fact: Taco Bell has tried to open shops in Mexico twice. Failed both times. Mexicans reportedly think it's just weird.

I'm from the Toronto area, and moved north. The only thing I miss from the city is Taco Bell. Crunch wrap supreme with their hot sauce is the greatest fast food combo ever!!!

For some reason, in Decatur, IL where I am from, natives have always called them cheese toasties. It's even labeled that in a lot of our restaurant menus. Maybe we had a lot of Irish roots.

Best thing about this video; I'm from Decatur, IL and natives call grilled cheese sandwiches Cheese Toasties, which is a debate even with people that life 15 miles away from us. It is so good to hear someone from across the pond to hear them call it by it's right name.

The thing to remember about Taco Bell is that they cater predominantly to people with Wonder Bread tastes. They won't actually put out anything that has any real heat to it.

Glad you got to try the sauces - and yeah, they're not as hot as advertised. My favorite is to put a diablos and a mild on my taco before eating to get some heat and round out the flavor to something nice.

Respect! I know too many people here in the US that think the "Mild Sauce" is peak heat. The Taco Bell "Fire" and "Diablo" sauces work well with most items across the Taco Bell spectrum, just to give them their due.
