Morning Birding in the Reserva Biológica Nosara, Costa Rica

The beach town of Nosara in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, may be more popular among beach-goers than about birders, but if you're already here as part of a family vacation you might as well try to find some birds!
And, surprisingly, Nosara and the surrounding area offer some excellent bird watching opportunities. The Reserva Biológica de Nosara is a protected area on the banks of the Nosara River and has some excellent habitat for a wide variety of birds. In today's video, I'm going there in the early morning to try to find some of them!

Thanks so much :) It's surprisingly great for wildlife up here! Of course, it's no Monteverde but if you're ever back in the country with someone who wants to chill at the beach for a few days, it's a nice compromise ;)

Absolutely! I'm not really sure how I survived on those sad empanadas in the southern Nicoya peninsula. This is an incredible upgrade in quality of life 😅
