I have never seen a Control Warrior not drawing any brawls the whole match

He looks like he was mechathun so maybe he isnt playing brawl so it doesnt get stranded and stop him from being able to play the mechathun
Most likely he was running Mecha’thun , they usually run only 1 brawl

Not to do with the video, but does anyone know when the single player stuff from this expansion is coming out? Normally it's a week after the expansion, but it's been over a week and it's still not out

I played vs this deck, I run a Rez Priest deck with Seance because I really like it with rabble bouncer vs aggro, but also there are just a lot of good stuff to copy inside of a Rez Priest shell. Anyway I Seance'd the guys Exotic Mountseller and proceeded in summoning three copies and just stomped him with his own card, flooding him with beast each turn. It was a lot of fun pounding the shaman with his own minion.

Tbh I had all of the legendaries before but was missing all but one of the epics, and there are a lot of them. Spent my hall of fame dust on this and khadgar mage. I like fun decks.

That’s because you want to cheese out big minions with spells, so Hagatha won’t generate much value
@@Strrroke I pretty much auto-include her in any controllish deck and am never unhappy to see her in my hand as a board clear +armor gain. But in this deck you always have other options by turn 8, so you don't need her I guess.
But how good is it against Rouge? Hard to play fun decks when you're stuck in the sweaty parts of ladder
It is solid. I'd take out the ysera and maybe moubtseller in place for a batterhead if you fight a bunch of rogues.
Edit: Try Earthshocks and lightning bolts, I run Rockbiter weapon and it works great but can flop as it is pretty greedy.
Does this deck have 0% win-rate against all the aggro decks though?

Legend doesn't have stars. It goes by relative position to others. So winning or losing might not change your position much, if at all.
There's no stars on Legends, only rankings.
He did lose ranking, it’s actually a visual bug going on where if you play the same player at legend you will only see them at the first rank you queued into them with. I’ve seen players stay legend rank 15 for 5+ games in a row because they kept queuing

Control Warrior is a rather good matchup for this deck.
I could imagine that this deck gets rolled by Tempo Rogue though since it has no early board presence.
The deck is actually really solid. He's playing one of the jankier lists so it's also luck.
mount seller? wut? Why that card over other big drop minions. Obviously other than when it guys mukla, which im guessing is rare. Witches brew I guess... but how often does it stick for that?

PS the chromatic purple to black color change makes Eureka!'s eyes disturbing...
It allows you to make big boards to gain both a tempo and value advantage simultaneously, what else does shaman have access to that does that? He's already playing Big Bad Archmage, Onyxia is a battlecry, Oondasta only generates tempo and would require an entire beast package, Splitting Festeroot is way too slow, Underbelly Ooze is too slow and requires a whirlwind package. If it weren't for Muckmorpher I'd be tempted to argue it's worth cutting Al'akir to run two of them, going wide with a single card is very powerful in a deck that can normally just cheat out one big threat at a time.
@@TheSquareOnes yeah its pretty good if it sticks, but it doesn't seem strong to murk out like ysera or something like that.
@@nickmagrick7702 If you could run a second Ysera you'd probably consider that instead, yes. You can't though and you need a sufficient density of big minions for the deck to work, so this is a good option.
It doesn't really need to "stick" though. It only costs 7 at most and can cost as little as 2 (far sight into muckmorpher), even at the high end 3-4 mana is more than enough to pair it with a spell or two right away. Even if they remove your 5/8 those random 3-drops are usually going to put you ahead in the trade.

@@nickmagrick7702 I know what you meant, but there are no other cards like Ysera. You never answered the question, what would you use instead? Nothing? Then you're making Eureka and Far Sight worse just to make Muckmorpher slightly better.
how did his rank not change? he lost against you the first time
Imagine that Warrior had a total of 63 victories and 42 losses, and the next player in legend rank has 63 victories and 45 losses, the fact that the Warrior losses are now 43 doesn't make him/her worse than any other player
Gamator he actually did lose ranking, but right now there is a visual bug since rastakhans rumble where if you queue into a player at legend multiple times it will always show the rank at which you first encountered them. That should clear things up.

It's so boring seeing control warrior all the time.

Yeah, the hero card rotation was hypothetically great for allowing people to play old school value decks again (and to be fair it has actually done that to an extent) but in reality it has just meant that 90% of the people that want to play control just play warrior exclusively now since they have the only truly infinite value generator left. Then rogues have the best tempo tools, I've heard rumors of such mythical creatures as token druids and zoo warlocks but so far I pretty much exclusively queue into warriors and rogues in standard.
It's weird since I was so excited for frozen throne, kobolds and Baku to leave standard but I've already switched back to mostly playing wild. You wouldn't think a format with resurrect priest would have more ladder diversity but somehow it still feels that way.
I would play control warrior, but mirror matches are killing me
I face alot of control warrior played against my fatigue shaman and those games can really be super boring. On average it would take around 30 minutes to finish one game.
