- WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER VIDEO!
In this video of Caravan Adventure Aus we leave Broome and travel to what felt like the hottest place on earth, Derby. We checked out the wharf which is a must see. The tides are the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere, moving 11.8m every day.
We weren’t brave enough to tackle the Gibb River Road so we just day tripped into a couple of hot spots which were on our bucket list.
The Bungle Bungles is a must see. Just prepare yourself for the crappy drive. We left our caravan at the Spring Creek Rest Area while we did an early morning day trip into the National Park. This seemed like the best option for us as the caravan park was expensive with little shade and facilities.
Onto Kununurra where we booked into the Kimberley Land Holiday Park (Top Park).
We adventure out for the day 4WDing to find Secret Spring in the middle of nowhere and drive the famous Ivanhoe Crossing.
We hope you enjoy this video and feel free to ask us any questions.
Happy travelling guys!!
Chelsea & Bryce 😊

@@glendarichardson8093 hi are you talking about Ivanhoe Crossing ?
Can you show us around the local town sites as well? Good to know what's available in each town too.
VK RADIO we will try and incorporate more of that 👍🏽 thanks for the suggestion
Great episode looking forward to more of your trip 👍
Jay Gus thanks Jay!
Hi from Derby UK
👍🏽 hey
Great video, sometimes talking to the locals allow you to find hidden gems...
For sure 👍🏽👍🏽
Really enjoy your vlogs, can't enable notifications
Colleen Oliver thanks Colleen. Not sure about that 🤔🤔
Hard to imagine it can be that hot when we are freezing over here in Vic, not to mention the freedom whilst we're stuck in ISO.
BAZ-R Adventures yes it seems like two different worlds at the moment 😞
Great footage. What month did you visit? We are currently in Karratha and its bloody hot here.
Lee-Ann Stevenson hey we just visited a couple weeks ago. Still in Kununurra and we’ve had a couple big rains since this footage so things may have changed slightly. 👍🏽
@@CaravanAdventureAus stay safe and hope you enjoy the rain. We are hoping to get some rain during the summer months in Karratha. Planning our trip up north next year. Thanks :-)
Love your channel guys. We planned on being there this year but hopefully one day soon. Did you tow your van in from derby to windjana and tunnel creek via leopold downs rd? Was it ok for a van?
Ywork4 Sam thank you for the support!
We didn’t tow are caravan but we would have been fine if we put the tyre pressures down.
Hopefully you can get across to the West soon 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Caravan Adventure Aus ah cool thanks for the info. I didn’t think by your clip you did tow but wasn’t sure. Enjoy your adventures!! Looks amazing
So how do you know if there will be crocs in the waterholes? I see a lot of people swimming in small springs etc...do they not like running water?
Have yr plans changed now borders have opened up more?
LadySusan Jane it’s pretty unlikely for there to be a salt water croc in small clear water holes. There is mostly freshies up here and there more scared of humans 👍🏽
Still heading over to NT soon. We’re in Kununurra doing a few weeks work before we leave WA 😊
Chelsea looks "Hot" in this VLOG!
