Octopus is considered one of the most intelligent animal that we can encounter in our Mediterranean Sea. As you can see, it is a champion of camouflage, cunning and escape strategies. However, it also has its problems and if once camouflaged it is practically impossible to see even to the most expert eyes, a spoilsport fish like the Serranus scriba (Sciarrano) almost always reveals its presence on the seabed, making even the best possible camouflage useless.
Il Polpo è considerato uno degli animali più intelligenti che possiamo incontrare nel nostro Mar Mediterraneo. Come si vede è un campione di mimetismo, di scaltrezza e di strategie di fuga. Anche lui però ha i suoi problemi e se una volta mimetizzato è praticamente impossibile da vedere anche agli occhi più esperti, un pesce guastafeste come il Serranus scriba (Sciarrano) ne rivela quasi sempre la presenza sul fondale marino, rendendo vano anche il miglior mimetismo possibile.
