Stephen takes your kids is still and always will be a funny joke that I'll never get over, I just love how Stephen ask these kids the best questions ever😂🥰😆🫶🏼
Nerd alert!!! The square root song went off the rails already with the third digit after the decimal point. sqrt(5312) is not 72.8820... but rather 72.8834...
Just a suggestion.... have Puddles Pity Party on for a show (since he's touring and will be touring with Weird Al) and have him do this segment with you, I think his sense of humor would be great to have alongside you!
(shakes fist at verdatum) I just wasted three minutes refining your answer, thinking I'm so smart. (in self-mocking voice) "actually, it's sqrt(83) * 2^6, nya nya nya." Then I realized that you tricked me into mathing! Curse you!! 😁

Seriously, this is crap. This may be the thing I hate the most when adults answer kids' questions. This is actually the way it happens to kids all the time. It's so insulting to children. Seriously, it ain't funny.
Since the writers and actors protests last year, this show has been in breaks more than on air. And the quality of writing has gone down and partisanship has gone way up.
I still think this segment is awful. First: The Answers are never funny. Second: Sensible people are debating whether it should be legal at all to put a foto of your child on social media even though they are too young to consent. And yet here we are, putting them on national tv to cater to parents who want their five minutes of fame. Let's face it: None of thise kids actually came up with those questions themselves. It's always the parents.

Stop doing this in the AM when I’m drinking my coffee ☕️!!! I accidentally spit some out!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Watch it at night and you can spit out your favorite alcohol drink!

That's what I said!!! ROFL
This salty water is making me _thirsty!_

The square root song is great. 😂😂😂
"Worm helmet."😅😅😅
I liked the square root song. 🤣 That thing really kept going.....
I would have loved it if Jenny's phone number showed up in the answer.
The tune sounds suspiciously like the Kids in the Hall's "These are the Daves I know I know."

I would like a cover of the square root song done by They Might Be Giants.

Where do i send my dirt for the worm helmet 🪖
My calculator says the square root of 5312 is 72.8834686332, which is different from the song at the 1/1000ths place.
I'm going to guess that instead of trying to teleprompt the digits, they just went to two decimal places of precision and the he made up numbers. 😁
Don't you hate it when they make big dumb mistakes?
But what if Mr Stevie Colbert tell us stories and give us 😂every week's dirt crisscross applesauce style 😅😊
It should be called: "Stephen Colbert's Just Kidding".
Ya, I kind of stole that from Jimmy Carr; however, his take was a bit different. lol
Good morning stephen colbert fans
The talking ocean bit was straight out of Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
sqrt(5312) = 8 * sqrt(83). 83 is a pretty large prime for such a young kid.

At least he didn’t divide by zero.
I've long asserted that the Universe was created when God accidentally divided by zero -- it wasn't intentional!
